Travis anxiously stood outside the airport, impatiently tapping his foot. What if they weren't coming? Travis had expected the worse until a red truck pulled up infront of him.

Before it even fully stoped, a frail blue haired boy jumped out of the car. A mysterious mask covering his face, no emotions coming through. The boy ran up to him, wrapping his arms around Travis...

"Sal ....", Travis muttered, placing one of his hands on Sal's back.

"It's you- it's really you ....", Sal said, breathlessly.

"Yeah .... I missed you, Sal..."

"I missed you too, Travis", Sal buried his head into Travis's shoulder.

And with that, Larry honked the car horn.

"That's enough, you guys can do that sappy shit later, just get in the car already, I'm tired"

For a long time the boys sat in silence. Larry alone in the front, Sal sitting in the second row with his old friend.

"So why are you back in Nockfell?", Sal chirped up.

"It's my home... I had to come back sooner or later"

"But, alone?"

"I had no one else to come with me"

"What about-"

"He died.... Melissa left awhile ago. So it's just me now"

"Do you have any... Plans here?"

"I was just gonna stay in a hotel for the next few weeks, till I got back on my feet."

"Don't. You. Dare.", Larry groaned.

".... Well.... There's an extra room at my place... Well it isn't *my* place. But I think Todd and Niel would love to have you!"

"Oh ... Yeah definitely not", Travis laughed anxiously.

"Why not?"

"They hate me-"

"That was a long time ago ... You've changed. I mean, you're free now"

"They still wouldn't want to see me..."

"Can I still ask? Just stay there for a month or two and then once you've got everything settled you can leave...."

"Fine...", Travis groaned.

"They probably aren't up right now- Just crash there tonight, and we'll ask if you can stay longer in the morning", Sal nodded to himself.

"So to Neil's house then?" Larry looked back at the two using the car mirror.

"Yup!"
