𝗜𝗗𝗢𝗟 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 #02 - 𝘽𝙀𝙏𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙉 𝙏𝙒𝙊 𝙅𝙨 ( 𝐽𝑎𝑒ℎ𝑦𝑢𝑛, 𝐽𝑜ℎ𝑛𝑛𝑦)

Prologue

"So tell us Ms. Yoon Hyejin, why should we hire you?" Said by the staff manager in front of me.

Today, I'm here inside this huge building that is well known in South Korea. My friend Trisha pushed me to apply here as a staff and that's the reason why I'm here right now.

I'm trying my luck, if ever I have.

I looked at the staff manager and saw the the doubt and questions in her eyes. It looks like she wants to ask something but couldn't. Her stare is full of judgement and I'm not liking it.

I bit my tongue to stop myself from throwing a sigh that she will definitely won't like.

I do get where she is coming from tho.

She's the staff manager. It's her duty to study ecery applicants thoroughly because everyone will be under her responsibilities.

She's probably thinking that I'm too young for this job or maybe she thinks I'm after their artists in the company but hell no! I may be young but i'm not chasing after their 'so-called' artists!

I don't even have the confidence to recite all of Girls Generation's members name. I just know them as a group. Just that.

I'm already too busy working hard to survive everyday so I have no time for fan girl-ing over idols. I have a lot of things to mind first.

"To make things clear, I am not after your artists ma'am. I am not a fan and my purpose here is to apply and have a job." I replied as polite as possible.

"And you are not answering my question. Why should we hire you?" Well, uh....because you guys are hiring and you need me to fulfill a certain job?? Duh??

If I could only answer her like that, tch.

"Because I can be the staff that you are looking for. I know I don't have any experiences on this kind of job but I will do my best to adopt and learn things fast." And because I'm really desperate.

I'm desperate to live, to survive, I want to make money to be able to provide my needs, to pay rent, bills and debts!

"Alright. Please wait outside for the result. Next." I did a formal bow and went outside to wait as what I was told to do.

While waiting, I circled my gaze and realized how big SM entertainment is. My chance of getting accepted here as their staff is nearly impossible but if I pass this, my income would be enough to slowly get things right.

I exhaled deeply and and crossed my fingers. "Please let me pass! Let me pass!" I prayed with my closed eyes.

Since the interview is taking pretty long, I stood up and decided to wander around the same floor to look for something to drink since my mouth kinda feels dry from answering all the questions they threw at me.

Not far from where I was, I found a vending machine standing in the corner and didn't hesitate to get a drink.

After I got it, I rushed back to where I was interviewed to wait for the result. God knows how hard I'm mentally praying to pass this.

"Where were you?" The staff manager asked in a very strict tone. "You haven't started yet you're already slacking." She added.

Set aside those words, I am more interested on what she meant by that.

"Oh my God! Did you just indirectly say I passed?" Excited, I asked.

She shook her head and slammed a thick leather book on the empty chair beside us. "Familiarize those faces and have their background information. You will be working with them, you are under my supervision." She said straightforwardly right into my face and left me with parted lips.

Omg! Oh my God!

I....I passed! I have a work now! I will be working as a staff in SM entertainment from now on! God heard my prayers! I'm so happy!!!

After taking a bath, I jumped on my bed and reached for the book that the staff manager gave me.

'NCT Members Profiles'  the first page says and my head immediately started swirling  seeing A LOT of guys sitting next to each other in one frame.

These guys are all from NCT? Wait I'm confused! Why? How?

So she's telling me to study them one by one? Have a background on their group and individual information? I have to memorize all of them?

"One...two...three..." To feed my confusion and curiosity, my finger began counting all the heads one by one.

"Heol...."

23!? Freaking 23 members?!
