Third Person's POV

A week without her had Johnny felt so empty. The whole house was dead silent, the ambiance was dark, the space was huge but it was suffocating him. Every corner he landed his eyes, it was searching for her smile. With every noises he heard, he hoped it was her voice, her laugh.

Even if he turned all the lights, there was something that only shines with Hyejin and it was not only the room that she could light up, also him that was why her absence really drained every piece of him.

He waited even though he exactly knew where she was and who she was with. Johnny tried to fight his feelings but in the end, he was still after her, he was still longing for her, he still ended up texting her like always.

And just as he requested, she came home. A choice that he regretted the most. She should've not just come home and he should've just waited for her no matter how long it takes because the moment Hyejin came to see him, he knew it would be the last.

He knew, he felt and by that time, he was too weak, too crashed down to even say a thing or stop her and even if he tries, Johnny was aware that it would never work again.

She came back more determined to break up with him than ever.

Johnny was keeping himself standing against the wall. His knees were feeling so weak and there was something that shuttering inside him. Was it his mind who could not take all his thoughts? Was it his heart who could not hold the pain? No, it was his whole self crashing down into pieces.

He could not do anything but to watch Hyejin pack all of her stuffs. She was moving out...which his mind refused to accept.

Hyejin made his house a home. She made him love going home. In what was happening, how was he going to look the same to the house that was only filled with their happy memories?

He would start to live there alone and everywhere, their memories would flash out of nowhere. How would he live like that?

Johnny tried to open his mouth but nothing came out even his voice. It was like his throat was locked up and dry. He wanted to crawl to her, hug her knees and beg to stay but he was stoned. He was too numb to move.

Never in his life he imagined he would see Hyejin walking out of his life.

There were train of thoughts trying to penetrate his mind. He was hurt but he was confused. Was she that happy with Jaehyun? What did his bestfriend do to have her like that? Was he treating her better? Was Johnny was a bullshit? A loser? A boring partner? What was with Jaehyun that he didn't have?

His red eyes followed her when Hyejin stopped in front of him carrying two big luggages. "I'm sorry." She apologized already crying. "I'm sorry but this is our last chapter John." Her voice cracked, she let her stuffs go and cupped his cheeks for the last time.

"I'm sorry if I can't keep my promises. I'm sorry if we turned out like this. I'm sorry I cheated. I'm sorry." It was not enough, she knew that. Sorry would not erase or even lessen all the things they did to him.

His eyes started to well, tears rolled down his cheeks as if they were in a race.

"You promised. You promised us. You promised to me...but there you are keeping the promises you told me with someone else."

His head fell down. He couldn't explain the pain he was having. It was definitely more painful than the past ones because they were talking about parting ways this time.

They were ones from those people. The ones that fated to meet but not fated to stay in love together. It was sad because he tried to revive them. He tried a lot of times.
