Third Person's POVAnother busy day for everyone inside SM entertainment. The hallway was packed with idols happily talking to each others.
Inaudible noises were coming from everyone as they kept talking about random stuffs at the same time.
For fans, it would be a good sight to see their idols interacting like that. However, the atmosphere was something else for Hyejin.
Something she couldn't inhale compare to them.
Inside that hectic space, there Hyejin stood in the corner watching NCT laughing and openly interacting with Red Velvet.
It was raining with so much visual and rich vibes and that was enough to make her feel out of place.
Hyejin's eyes were scanning everyone and the situation. A heavy feeling was knocking her mood seeing the boys with other idols.
Clearly, there was really nothing wrong with idols' interactions, it was a normal thing specially inside SM entertainment since their artists were all close to each other.
What was not right was Hyejin's feelings at the moment. Even herself hated what she was feeling, she felt so jealous.
She knew she wasn't in the right place to feel that way. She new she shouldn't be acting like that but stopping herself was a hard thing to do.
Who befriended NCT first? Of course it was them, some of them spent years training together. It was them before her and hell no, she wasn't liking that thought.
Her view was getting her emotional. As childish as it sounds, Hyejin was being insecure eyeing the pretty girls standing in front of her.
But it wasn't just because of that! The main reason why she was feeling so fucked up was because of the what ifs bombarding her mind.
What if NCT leave her? What if they leave her for them? To be with them?
Those thoughts were eating her sanity. She was scared because to be frank, Hyejin knew she was nothing. Just a mere staff, a nobody, a not so special person compare to those girls.
There was nothing else inside her only fear. Fear of being alone and abandoned again.
She had made a strong bond with the boys. The interaction and the friendship they showed her made her feel so attached to them.
NCT was something to her. A part of her, a piece of puzzle added to her life that was once lonely and incomplete. Her world completely changed and became more bright ever since she let them in her world.
Those nine fine men were her first ever friends. It wouldn't be that bad if she wanted to keep them for herself right?
A bit selfish, yes. If only she could do that without being toxic, she would.
Getting anxious, Hyejin started biting her nails. She felt like her head was getting bigger on the fact that none if them were talking to her.
She felt so transparent and that pained her.
"Uhm...I'll just go to the bathroom." Hyejin informed their staff manager and began walking out with her shoulders down.
Not so far from where she was, Johnny heard the tone of her voice. "Oh shit." He cussed under his breathe and turned to face Wendy. "I don't think I can tag along." He replied to Wendy's invitation.
Red Velvet had invited to join them for lunch since it had been a quiet while since the last time they went out.
His eyes kept looking to Hyejin back and forth. He was trailing her small figure slowly disappearing from his sight.
