Third Person's POV
A defeaning silence was all over the room as Hyejin and Jaehyun sat on the bed together without exchanging any words.
Her head was throbbing hard. The alcohol she took last night had been doing some unwanted magic in her stomach. Hyejin was throwing up because of hangover and he was there to help.
Without saying anything, he held Hyejin to the bathroom and even cooked a hangover soup for her.
He wasn't acting cold, Jaehyun was waiting for her to take notice of what happened last night. He wanted to know the reason why she got drunk and what's will all the words she threw towards him.
Every words and actions from the event that happened between them was all clear in her head. In fact, she was dead-ass silent because she clearly remembered all of it. Courage had left Hyejin's body as she realized how much of a bullshit she was last night.
His words were still pressing down her chest. How come she didn't remember Jaehyun's feeling when she was with him almost all the time? How ignorant was she to think he was fine?
Her eyes drifted to the smoke coming from the soup he prepared for her. Despite all that, he still didn't fail to take care of her.
"Jae..." She called and looked at his broad back.
His ears perked and chest already heaved up with just one call. Still in silence, he turned his head to looked at Hyejin and sent her a questionable look.
She didn't know what's making her feel cold. Was it the air-con or was it him? Whatever it was, she knew she needed to set aside her pride and make it up to him.
In just a snap, he turned into melting ice feeling her skin brushing onto him. "I'm sorry." She apologized in clear and full voice as she hugged him from behind.
His eyes travelled down to her locked hands on his tummy. The way she was clasping her hands together where so tight, another day, another confusion. Why was she holding him like she never wanted to let her go after what she said?
"I'm sorry Jae." No..sorry was not the thing he was anticipating to hear.
Her words slapped him with sad reality. She was wounded him. Taking it back wouldn't undone the damage she caused. Hyejin knew that.
Jaehyun sat there not doing anything. The more she apologize the more painful it was. Was she being sorry because she felt bad?
"I was drunk. I didn't mean any of it." As much as he wanted to believe her, Jaehyun just couldn't. With the amount of anger and regret she had shown him? Sorry but that was so hard not to believe!
"Jae..." She called and let him go. "Look at me." Hyejin grabbed his hand and pulled him closer while gently tilting his head to look at her.
She softened seeing the sad look hiding in his brown eyes. After staring on them for couple of seconds, Hyejin pulled his face close to give him a kiss. "I didn't mean any of it. For real!" Oh how deep did Jaehyun fall for feeling already fine with just one kiss from her? He hated how his heart and body automatically surrender to her all the time.
He really had lose control of his own feelings.
"You know they say people tend to be more honest when they're drunk." He finally spoke and that what was keeping him loose! The fear from her honesty for being drunk was getting really deep into his system.
Hyejin was tongue tied. That could be true but she was overtopped by her feelings that night!
"So it's true?" The corner of his lips twitched hearing no answer from her. So what was happening? Would they end it?
