Third Person's POV
127's schedule ended pretty early. With what happened, Jaehyun's mind was occupied as to how he would calm his girlfriend who was currently brawling her eyes because of Lee Haechan.
The couple already arrived home, it has been hours since they left the company. Hyejin finished a lot of crime cases to distract herself but soon enough after binge watching them, her attention was drawn back to her falling apart relationship with the guy whom she treated as her real brother. She would stop crying for minutes and then tears would stream down her eyes again. That was her case repeating like a rolling wheel.
Lee Haechan was literally one of the most important person in her life. He was the goofy sunshine, the kind of annoying sibling that you cannot hate. They might not be siblings by blood but they were by heart. Haechan cured the emptiness and longing in Hyejin's curiosity how it felt to have a sibling and now that they were falling apart, man, that was hard to swallow.
She was not hurt by the words he said, he had every rights and his answer itself was really a fact. At some point, cheating was really so low and disgusting but what hurt her was actually Haechan himself being mad at her. The way his soft yet brat eyes turned into cold and disgusted ones was the one that pained her the most.
The whole situation was leaving her hopeless. Would she ever regain her closeness with him? Her confidence was ticking low. It was nearly impossible to happen.
Jaehyun sighed as he watched his girlfriend snuggling her face over the pillow. He was running out of ideas as to how he would calm her down. His hand was holding the door knob as he leaned on the door itself, keeping his eyes watching the poor girl balling herself on the bed.
He knew it was a serious matter. That definitely hurt Hyejin big time but just like her, he could not do anything with it yet, he knew the consequences they both were about to face because of the choices they made and once again Jaehyun knew it was not going to be an easy ride for both Hyejin and him.
But no matter what it was, either of all negative possibilities, it was on their shoulders. It was their own responsibilities and they needed to buckle up, they needed to be strong.
A loud sigh escaped his rosy tinted lips as he walked through their bed and joined her. He tucked himself under the thick blanket without breaking his watch over her. "Love." He softly called, hand slowly moving up to her tummy. "How are you feeling?" Jaehyun asked as he gradually moved himself closer to her.
Her chest arched as she took a deep breath. "I'm worried. Haechan probably hates me now. We lost it." His hand grazed over the skin of her side waist. He gently squeezed it to send a bit of a comfort. "Don't think about it too much. He's just probably shocked." That was the only sentence he could give.
Jaehyun alone was also honestly out of words, not sure if Haechan could still look at them the same after he found out the mess they made. He was worried as well and also affected to the bone but he had to be strong for Hyejin.
"Shocked was an overstatement. Did you see how he looked at me? Every look flashed on his face told me one thing, he regretted having me in your lives." She stared at the ceiling, mentally convincing herself to throw back the immerging tears in her eyes. "Because to begin with, he's right. You guys wouldn't be like this if you didn't meet me." Jaehyun got her point but chose to be silent.
Instead of saying anything, he pulled her in his arms and hug her tightly. Hyejin was speaking facts, things would be all light and fine if she was not around but thinking of all it, it would be surely a different life- a sad one for him to be exact if he did not meet her.
