ABUJA, NIGERIA.
"I really want her with Amir. Do you notice just how happy she is now after what has happened? I have no doubt she won't go back to Mika'il." Fayha shook her head, sitting comfortably on Kauthar's bed along with Mujaheed, Mujaddad, Murad, Hanan and Kauthar herself in the Masari mansion.
"That's not debatable. I still want to beat him to pulp though, I'll have to." Murad cracked his fists picturing Mika'il's fresh face getting hit by him. The guy is just what he is! It doesn't mean he likes him now after finding out Zara, whom they thought is also six feet underground did it. It doesn't matter, he was the one who hurt his sister.
"I can't believe Ya Zara did all that and she is alive. That means she will trace Mika'il and come straight here, heavily pregnant or not." Hanan chirped, wringing her fingers around in nervousness. She didn't know her sister could be this cruel, not in her wildest dream! She even stole one billion naira from the budget, to live happily in South Korea at the end of the world with Mika'il. That woman is more vile than she gave her credit for.
"She did that and some more. Now that I think about it, what about Fahad's unexpected disappearance way before Mika'il's death and also his own death?" Mujaddad brought up the topic in three people's mind, Kauthar, Murad and Mujaheed too. That is the only thing that could sort out the unforeseen death of Kauthar's ex fiancée.
How could a man, a grown up man just disappear with one single message sent to his fiancée and none of his family? Not one of them saw him after he said he was going for the hearing in the court, they didn't see him there too. And after a long time, his dead body is found in the outskirts of the city? There is a huge question mark on the death of Fahad Sanusi which they won't rest until they find out how it happened. How could they be so densed and thought his death was a normal natural one? Even his family were that delusional, didn't suspect a thing as if their mouths has been closed.
"We should root to this case too before she comes back. She won't be able to escape from this, not this time around. She's already orchestrated two murders, kidnapping and is now a suspect." Mujaheed's deep voice ran with threat that sent chills to their spines, Kauthar included. When he is working, you shouldn't interfere with this man, he could be cruel too.
"But what do you think made her kill him? I can't come up with the reason why she wants him dead. Except if..." Murad trailed off, his eyes snapping to his two brothers and they nodded as if coming to a decision of why. Their eyes communicated, excluding their wives inside the room but Kauthar wasn't having it.
"Except what?" She snapped them out of their signal stuff in exasperation and impatience. He trailed off leaving them hanging on suspense, the thing she hated most in her life and not when it concerned her dead fiancée.
"If he's seen the people in the car and would've definitely told us she wasn't the one there with Mika'il. That is the only thing because let's face it, he was supposed to be at the hearing too but he never arrived and from then, he disappeared. While Mika'il and Zara were supposed to be on their way to the hearing too but met up with this well played 'accident' of theirs and supposedly dead. This should be why his life got risked and they didn't kill him instantly, they kidnapped him and kept him for awhile. It looks like she didn't want to kill him at first but had to when he didn't succumb to keeping it a secret." Mujaddad explained, his hands and fingers trailing the oak desk in the room as if orchestrating a war.
"Wow!" Fayha breathed out after listening intently, thankful he didn't use that soldier language of theirs she often overhear him talking in.
"Wow indeed. This is just the only story behind Fahad's death for that man would never have lied to me about it but he shouldn't have agreed to die so brutally." Kauthar started to get emotional, Mujaheed was quick to embrace her. His jealousy flared a bit but the man dead and she should let it all out.
