QUEENSTOWN, NEW ZEALAND.
"Where were you?" Mika'il asked, his head deep into his hands because Zara has fueled him on their way back home. Even though he doesn't want to doubt Bushra for she's done nothing to give him the impression, Zara's words weren't exactly nice and he stopped her but it has worked nevertheless."You see, she said she don't want to go with us because she has other plans. It's not like this is the first time woman mingle with foreigners, it happens all the time. You might not believe me because you think your wife is always innocent but you should know that this is cheating. She didn't tell you about leaving the suite or meeting some other foreigner!" Zara kept rambling on their way home but he kept quite, he has been waiting for Bushra to call him and tell him about her leaving the house but she never did neither has she messaged him.
"I went to the market to shop and then to the coffee shop with a foreigner who helped me with my shopping bags. Why did you ask?" She furrowed her brows, removing her clothes one after the other to change into something warm for the weather has changed suddenly. She wanted to take bath but don't want to freeze to death.
"Oh, but you didn't tell me." He rose his head, relief washing over him that she told him the truth unlike what Zara was referring to. He really should stop her from talking about his wife like this, he despise having this little doubt about his wife. The woman is really good at convincing him, he's never doubted Bushra their whole time together and this is the first time because of a cowife.
"I didn't want to disturb you guys and I shall keep meeting him till our time here is over. I want someone to talk to, I don't want the silence in this suite. Don't worry about me." She gave him a reassuring smile, her eyes twinkling when he narrowed them. She knew he was going to talk about the 'him' she just said. He should calm down, it's not like she is allowed to elope with a non Muslim and get married to him, it's haram.
"It's a man?" He is acting like he didn't see them talking and giggling over coffee but it didn't hurt him now after she told him the truth. Had it been she hid it from him, he'd start suspecting her for no reason. He felt a weight lifted off his shoulder after she's said the truth, for a lie would've ruined their relationship to the limits of no return.
"Yes, his name is Vicky and very nice. He is already obsessed with Anaan like everyone else." She grinned at the mere thought of their daughter and Vicky's reaction to seeing her photos. She's sent him thirty of her pictures but he still wants more, she won't send more for she won't send him all she has, she's possessive over her daughter.
"You are showing our daughter to strangers, should I be worried?" He stood up, his full height looming over her now sweater clad body and sweatpants that are definitely his since she is swallowed in them. He is tired of asking whether she is wearing his clothes or not, there is no doubt those clothes are his. He could only stare at her in disbelieve, half his drawer is now hers.
"We were out of topic so I told him about my almost one year old daughter. And do you know what else I did?" She has a mischievous smile taking over her face and he has no doubt he would enjoy what she was going to tell him. His serious wife likes mischief every now and then, he likes to help.
"I am definitely going to worry about myself this time around." He moved closer to her but have a huge smile on his face. She blinked her eyes innocently at him, playing with the edge of her sweater like a little bairn. He is one lucky man, she is so innocent and beautiful, the sight he would love to see every blessed day after coming back from work. If only he hadn't made the greatest mistake of his life by taking another wife.
"Well, you know Anaam's birthday is coming soon right?" She waited for him to nod before she continued, "I was thinking about making it a theme party, to spice things up you know? I bought a few outfits for everyone and they are definitely going to love it." She grinned, her eyes bouncing to the shopping bags she hid away from him. He won't see them, she his them well this time around.
