I cut the call  with Michael more confused then ever. We didnt even know the Russos. I had only met them Once myself. But they were really friendly with Alexa. She liked them too, i could tell.

I make my way downstairs
"Did Alaric & Jess leave?"
Lucy turns around and brings the spoon towards me "Yepp they woke up a while ago said they'd visit tomorrow"
"Mhm this is tasty. Thanks babe"
I take a seat and look up when I hear a throat being cleared.

"You okay?"
I sigh and grab Lucy's hand bringing her into my lap and giving her a kiss

"The Russo's called, said they wanted to meet tomorrow, something about Alexa,"

"Alexa? What about her?"

"No clue."

"Baby" She says as she starts to rub my shoulders "All will be fine."

I smile and bring her for another kiss. I put my forehead on hers "I'm just overthinking. We'll see in the morning" I sigh.

And that's what's still on my mind as I stand in front of the mirror doing my tie, ready for the day.

"Give me a call once the Russo have been baby" Lucy helps put on my blazer

"I will love, Gotta go. Love you" giving her a kiss

"Love you babe"

I make my way to the front door and see Alexa putting on her shoes.

"Where you going so early in the morning?"

She looks up and smiles "Jogging duh"

I shake my head and walk past "Have fun"
"Bye bro" she laughs

I sigh and get into my car and check the time. 2 hours before I meet the Russos. I'm getting a weird feeling about this. Ugh. Hopefully it's nothing.

I turn on my car and make my way to the office.

"Sir, we have Mr Smith waiting for you in Room 3"
I nod "Thanks Samantha"

I get into the lift and make my way to Smith.
"Ah, how nice of you to join" Smith laughs
I shake his hand " Sorry, I didn't realise we were meeting"

Smith shakes his head "No, it wasn't planned, I just wanted to go over some stuff with you before I send confirmation if thats alright"
"Sure" I take a seat and get into business mode.

two hours later there's a knock on the door "Cone in"

"Sir, Michael and Roberto Russo are here to meet you"

His dad aswell? Weird.

""take them to my office. I'm coming"

I turn to Smith "Is that all?"
"Yes, thank you for your time, appreciate it"
And with that I make my way into my office not knowing I'll be involved in a huge secret.

"Russo. Hi" I walk towards them shaking their hands
"please. call me Roberto and my son Michael"
"Of course. Do take a seat" I say sitting down in my chair

"What is this about?"
"I'm going to go straight into it. Are you aware Alexa isn't your biological sister?" Roberto questions

What.

"Yes I am, how do you know that and what's it got to do with anything?"

"Alexa is my biological sister" Michael  interrupts

My eyes widen. My hand dropped from my desk.
"What" I whisper
"Jason. Before we go into this, I am well aware your parents have done nothing wrong. I did my research and they took in my daughter when they had tried finding her family, police and media tried but at the time we were all kidnapped. We didn't see nor hear."

Kidnapped? Wait what

"Kidnapped?"

"Look the point is Alexa is my daughter."

"And how do you know that. I mean for certain"

"Me and the boys saw Alexa in the lounge with Rick. She's got a twin. Luca. They look similar but she's also got a hint of our mums look. But what made me certain was the tattoo on her wrist"

I think about it. Luca. Alexa. Now I think of it they did look a little similar. Wait tattoo.

"We assumed that tattoo was given to her by her family"

Roberto nods "Michael and the boys have matching tattoo. It's a sibling thing"

I nod taking in the information

"We also got a DNA test done. The results came whilst you were over for dinner but we didn't want to say anything then. " Michael adds giving me the sheet and showing me his tattoo.

It looked exactly like Alexas. Fuck. Wasn't expecting this. Alexa really is a Russo.

"Why now? Why have you come here, to me instead of Alexa. And why didn't you want to say anything when we were over."
