Beam avoided talking about work or business whenever he is with Forth but his husband knows how the doctor is struggling in handling their businesses. Forth wants to help him out even in the simplest way.

"I've been seeing Park and Lam quite often. Should I worry?" Forth commented one time while they were eating in their balcony.

Beam was stumped. He forgot that his husband could be super possessive and his jealousy is not something to be taken lightly. "No, they just like to drop by and check on the kids...you know they have two boys and were wondering how cool it would be to have girls" he reasoned.

"Or you've hired them as consultants?" Forth gave him a calculating look while holding his fork midway.

Beam sighed in defeat. "I could never hide anything from you, could I?" He pouted.

Forth chuckled. "Nice try Beammie" he winked. "Try as you may, I know you like the back of my hand. Just like you, I can never hide anything from you either...there's just this icky feeling of guilt whenever I think of doing so"

Beam just grumbled. "Yeah, I know the feeling. I get that too...it just sucks that you can predict everything about me the way that Lam does and I can barely get a hint on your thoughts"

"But you're good in guessing...or maybe you are just an overthinker" Forth teased him as he continue eating. "Stop trying to hide things from me, it'll only stress you out and I don't like that. You know you can ask me anything, like consult me regarding our businesses. You might be surprised how less stressing that is, to be able to juggle ideas between the two of us"

Beam gave him puppy eyes before launching himself to hug his husband. "I'm sorry I'm not as good as you when it comes to handling the businesses"

Forth wrapped an arm around Beam and basked in his warmth. "Hey, stop that. Don't you know that's my husband you're insulting right there. As far as I know he's one of the most capable and intuitive person I know...and as far as business handling goes, it takes time but you'll get the hang of it in no time babe"

Just like that, Forth is already in his fifth month. Surprisingly, he is easier to handle than Beam ever was when he was pregnant. He never throws tantrums and he is calm as ever. You can never hear any complaints coming from him and that worries Beam. He sometimes think that Forth is trying to downplay any uncomfortness he feels.

Jared and Friya also decided to spend the remaining months of their son's pregnancy with Forth and his family. They wanted to show their support to the couple and also spend time with them and their grandchildren.

"Sometimes I can't help but worry Mae. What if Forth just doesn't want me to fuss over him" Beam shared one time he and Friya were looking over reports for Forthlux.

"You worry too much Beammie" Friya tried to placate him. "Forth could be stubborn at times and I do know he has very high pain tolerance but he wouldn't hide anything that could endanger him and the baby" she added with a comforting smile.

Beam pouted and thought over Friya's words.

"Or maybe Phi, you just can't accept P'Forth being ten times better than you during your recent pregnancies" Sora teased him.

Beam quickly retaliated by flinging a pen towards his direction.

"Oi, can you two please stop acting like five year olds" Blake berated them. "Your worse than the girls arguing over their dolls and tea sets" he grumbled as he continued scribbling on a piece of paper.

Meanwhile at the poolside, outside of their home office

Forth was walking slowly, like baby steps, and Jared was assisting his son. New was a few steps behind with a tablet in hand as he was checking on the stocks that the family has invested on while at the same time looking after his pregnant boss.

Beam had already decided to get a rotation of trustworthy orderlies from the hospital to look after his husband. He took off the responsibility from New but still has their assistant tail Forth and Jared.

Jared helped his son sit on one of the chaise by the poolside. Once he ensured Forth is comfortable, he took the one beside.

"Any cravings, son?"

Forth chuckled. "Nothing specific Dad. I'm fine with the food being served"

Jared smiled fondly. "It's okay to be picky Poom" he called him by his childhood nickname.

Forth looked at his father, a bit flustered. "What's with that? I thought we're past that nickname"

Jared laughed freely. "You'll always be my little Poompoom. I missed out so much on your life and I'm glad I get to be here to experience being a father and grandfather at the same time"

"Awww Dad, you're getting cheesy on me" Forth teased his father.

Jared threw a smile at him. "Why? I see nothing wrong with that. Just let us spoil you. Beam is dying to do that, let him"

Forth took a deep breath. "I'm fine. He just overthinks too much. I undersrand he's moody and hard to deal with everytime he's pregnant but I love that.part of him too. I hate seeing him struggling and if there's something I could do to make it easier for him, I'll do it. You know how I am Dad"

"Yeah, you're easy when you want too" Jared agreed. "But at one point you have to give in Poom"

"Like how?" Forth asked with an eyeroll.

"Ask for any craving?" New suggested as he joins them. He has been listening on the sides and finds them amusing.

"Hmmm...cravings" Forth repeated.

"Beam had the craziest craving when he was pregnant with Jaron. He always wants everything to have honey on it" Jared recalled fondly. "Your mom, she's also bad. Asking for certain foods during odd hours and then once she gets a whiff of the smell, she would demand for me to eat them instead. Bree was the worst when she was pregnant with Bea. She'll ask for fruits which are out of season and cry if she can't have them"

"Really? Are we talking about the same Mae Bree here? Her crying because of food?" Forth shook his head in amusement.

"Well, Bo told me she was the opposite when she was pregnant with Beam. She was like an angel and the moment he said that, I could see how lovesick he is with that woman" Jared relayed with a goofy grin. "Angel my ass. Nothing is angelic with that woman"

Forth laughed. "Yeah, Mae Bree is feisty. Just like Mom. Both of them looks like naïve women but once you get to know them, you'll definitely regret thinking of them as that"

Both father and son laughed at that. New couldn't help but join them while the orderly on duty tried his best to stiffle his laughter.

"So Phi, cravings?" New asked.

"Green mangoes with spicy sweet shrimp paste" Forth said after some thought.
