074 | reminiscing Tokyo

TWO YEARS AFTER...

Beam was double checking on all of their stuff that are line up in the living room. The whole family will be going on a trip to Tokyo to attend the inauguration of the branch of Vongviphan Medical Center there.

A seventeen year old Bjorn came to find their Papa with a two year old Baby Bon clinging to him. "Hey Papa, we'll be leaving in a few minutes to the airport. Dad's looking for you out in the frontyard"

Beam smiled at his eldest and youngest. Before he could respond, Jaron appeared from the stairs with a squirming four year old Freesia in his arms. "Finally got her dressed" he said with a sigh.

"Did she give you a hard time?" Beam asked as he kissed each of his children's heads.

"Nah, just a bit of struggle. You know how cranky she is if she's getting dressed" Jaron answered.

"Where's Bian?" Beam suddenly asked as he noticed his missing kid.

"She's with Dad. And I bet they're both scowling now. You know how impatient those two could be" Bjorn said as he picked up his backpack along with Bon's nappy bag.

"Give him here Beej" Beam said as he opened his arms to take Bon.

Bjorn saw Jaron about to take his own backpack and Freesia's. He stopped him and said. "Just take care of Rees. I'll carry those while the rest could be loaded by the maids into the car"

Beam shook his head in amusement. Bjorn is still the same. He enjoys being the responsible eldest and looking after his siblings like a piece of cake.

"Let's go. Your Dad must already be steaming outside. We might see actual smoke coming out of his ears and nose" Beam said with a chuckle.

It has been an easy journey for the whole family. They were joined by Sora and surprisingly, Lucien, Park and Lam's eldest. The boy seems to be taken into the world of gaming and has been contributing to KluFunk.

Forth heard from Park that Lucien has been giving tips and suggestions to Sora during his absence due to his pregnancy. That amused Forth thinking how Sora's patience is too short for hormonal teenagers like Lucien. The boy seems to inherit Lam's attitude of almost being cold to anything and everything.

They have landed safely and all of them are staying in Sora's house, the one his parents left for him. The children all bunked up in one room since they'd rather sleep together than venture from one room to another during the night if one of the younglings woke up in the middle of their sleep.

"I'll be hoping and praying that this will be better than the last time all three of us were back here" Sora said as he eyed the couple who was famous for their shameless displays of affection.

Beam snorted. "As if you didn't get to have fun inside the plane"

Forth wasn't able to contain his laughter which earned him a dirty finger from his subordinate. "I think she's been bugging her agency to ensure she gets assigned to our flights whenever we have the chance to do so"

"Have you heard from her afterwards?" Beam asked out of curiousity.

Sora arched an eyebrow at that. "Oh come on Boss, you don't communicate with a one-off after doing it, hence the name"

Forth and Beam just burst out laughing.

It has been quite busy for the couple for the past few days. Sora dealt with the kids and toured them around. He brought them to Tokyo Disneyland. Having Bjorn, Jaron and Lucien was a big help since the teens handled the kids too well. Sora was more like supervising them.

By the time sunset came, they met with Forth and Beam at a Ramen house. They were given a secluded area as they requested so they could eat in peace.

"How was Disneyland?" Beam asked the kids.

"It was awesome Papa!" Biljanna, their eldest daughter squealed in delight.

"How about you boys? Did you have fun or was it too childish for you?" Forth asked the teenagers.

"Nah, I would never be too old for Disneyland Dad. It's still cool for me" Jaron answered as he ate his ramen.

Bjorn was busy feeding Bon while eating at the same time. "You know me Dad, as long as everyone's having fun, I'm having fun"

"You sound like an old man Phi" Lucien teased him. "Old or young, everyone enjoys Disneyland" he added. "Oh I just wished I brought Pax with me. He could've enjoyed this too"

"We can always go back" Sora said, which earned him a curious look from Forth.

Once they were done eating, they all agreed to take a stroll to the nearby park before heading back to Sora's house. The boys were looking after the younger ones as they run all over the place.

"Did they give you a hard time?" Beam asked as he stood beside Sora, who was also busy looking at the children.

"No Phi. The boys were a big help. They know how to pacify those monsters you and P'Forth created" Sora answered.

Forth snickered. "I bet you'll be getting your own monster in a few years time" he commented knowingly.

Beam was puzzled at that but he let it be. "Well, I think Beej matured too soon. I barely see him enjoying himself"

"Well, I think that boy would be sick if he stopped caring for any of his sibling" Sora commented.

Forth sighed. "Must've been my fault. He has been like that since he was a child"

"I'm not saying it's a bad thing Phi. Both you and P'Beam did well in raising those boys, albeit separately. They just adore their younger siblings too much. I'm tok scared of the time those two ladies over there starts getting suitors" Sora half teased.

"Not in a million years, Sora. Na-ah" Beam butted in.

"Oh come on, love" Forth said as he wrapped an arm around his husband's shoulder.

"They grow up so fast, babe. I just want to keep them safe in my arms, just like the way when they were still babies" Beam said as he snuggled into his husband's embrace.

"We can't stop them from growing up Phi" Sora said with a sigh. "But we can always ensure their happiness and safety"

"Sora is right, love. Stop worrying too much" Forth said as he dropped a kiss to his temple.

"Or you can always make a new baby, if you get that empty nest syndrome" Sora said before he hurriedly ran towards the children leaving the couple perplexed.

It took a while for them to recover, making Beam whine in annoyance. "Oh that fucking asshole! I swear I could strangle him to no ends" which made Forth burst out laughing.
