It was on Forth's seventh month that Beam noticed some dark bruises on his husband's bulging stomach. It scared him and made him call on his Dad and Tul.
Back to the time they found out about Forth's pregnancy, Tul did an extensive examination on his blood and thorough checks to ensure a safety pregnancy for the Jamornhum heir. It was then that they discovered Forth inherited APAS from Friya.
Though rare in male, it explained why both mother and son had difficulty in getting pregnant. Tul also came to a conclusion that Forth may have miscarriages in the past during the early stages but didn't give it mind. The pregnant man did confirm however that he did experience severe headaches and double visions, hence his frequent usage of eyeglasses when reading documents.
Even though there are times he experiences extreme fatigue and chest pains with shortness of breath, Beam always had a stash of medicines to ease those. He also had a complete range of vitamins and food supplements, mostly for memory enhancement and multivitamins. Tul agreed to have him continue those and added ones needed to sustain his pregnancy.
Beam and Tul hesitated to tell the part where Forth would need daily injections so he wouldn't miscarry. The pregnant man took in their serious faces and surprisingly agreed without any arguments or fuss. It had been challenging for the couple but Forth never failed to reassure his husband and to always convey what he feels.
Boone was the first to arrive and softly knocked on the door. Beam opened it in no time and led his father into the room.
"What happened son?"
"I...I was leaning over his stomach just like I usually do and noticed bruises on it. From afar it can't be obvious due to his tattoo but when you take a closer look, there are a lot...is h-he alright?" Beam said worriedly.
Boone faced his son and held him by the shoulders. "Hey" he said gently. "Everything will be okay, hmm? We've been monitoring him and the baby closely. They've made it this far and as promised, Tul and I will make sure Forth goes thru this pregnancy safely and deliver the baby in a healthy state" he added as he caressed his son's cheek before tucking his hair behind his ear.
"I'm scared Dad" Beam admitted as he leaned on his father's hand.
"Don't be. Tul is the best in his field and both of us will do anything to see Forth and the baby healthy" Boone promised.

Despite being closely monitored and undergoing several tests, Forth remained calm and collected. You would expect him to already be irritated with almost everything but he is the exact opposite. They have already scheduled him for a Caesarian operation near his due date so as not to distress him and the babe.
As his due date approaches, Tul moved in with them so he could monitor the pregnant man on a daily basis while still fulfilling his duties at the hospital. He is amazed at how Forth handles the situation and even manages to smile and joke with everyone. The pregnant man never fails to tease his husband for being a worrywart and to also placate their children whenever they look at him like the way their Papa does.
Forth was halfway through his seventh month already and was on his morning routine. He was walking in their Japanese inspired garden, together with his assigned orderly of the day, when he doubled over because of cramps.
The orderly who accompanied him noticed that he is bleeding and immediately called out to the nearby security for help. It then alerted the other guards and they've notified Beam. They also contacted the ambulance on standby which is prepared take their Master to the hospital in case a situation like this occurs.
Beam ran frantically in the house in order to reach his husband. He stopped and found him almost kneeling, clutching his distended stomach and being supported by the orderly. He quickened his steps towards him and with adrenalin rush, he was able to carry him towards the awaiting ambulance followed by the rushing orderly.
Tul and Boone were at the hospital when that happened and they were alerted by the emergency medical team that it would be a premature delivery. They immediately prepared the Delivery Room for Forth and gathered the team designated to help Tul. They waited agitatedly for the couple to arrive at the Emergency Room entrance.
Everyone was on alert the moment Forth was taken out of the ambulance and rolled in by the gurney towards the Delivery Room. They acted quickly and everything felt like a haze for Beam while he waited outside the doors.
Beam wasn't allowed to accompany Forth since Tul knows there will be complications that will arise and it will be harder if the Neurosurgeon would be there. At the same time, Kit was on standby as the Paediatrician to attend the newborn while Thanu is the Anaesthesiologist.
Phana joined his friend outside as they wait for the operation to be finished. Beam can't help but pace along the hallway and that is how Friya and Jared saw him.
"Son" Jared called out. "How are they faring?"
Beam's nerves are on haywire and is easily seen in his facial reaction and movements. He is caught up between crying and being frustrated. "I don't know Por. They won't let me in to be with him" he said as he bit the tip of his thumb while his other hand is on his hip.
Friya wrapped an arm around his shoulders to calm him down. "Everything will be alright Beammie" she said as she coaxed her son-in-law to sit down.
"P'Tul is the best in his field Beam. He'll take care of Forth, relax" Phana added.
Just then, Brissa arrived with Bea in tow along with Blake and Bren. Beam's mother immediately wrapped her son in an embrace as she knew how worried he is.
"Take a deep breath Beam. Nothing's gonna go wrong. Forth knows you'll kill him over and over if something doesn't go your way" Brissa said as she cupped her son's face.
Everyone knew that she was trying to brighten up the mood and chuckled.
"Surprisingly, he was easy to deal with than either of you and Bren when pregnant" Jared added with a goofy smile.
Beam and Bren groaned at that while Blake let out a hearty laugh.

070821A/N: I'm falling deeper and deeper for BTS...I think I'm turning into an ARMY 😍😍😍
I've been listening to their songs over and over while trying to salvage whatever love I have for this ship...and not to be drowned in disappointment.
Somehow, I've come to realise...I love TT but I could only stand watching Tae's series but not Tee's...weird right?
Speaking of which, I've mentioned APAS (Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome) in this chapter...I'm not that well-versed with this and just had it based from Google info. Pardon me if I haven't brought enough justice.
I'll try to update soon...see you in the next chapter
