Bjorn was already on his way to his next class when Param caught up with him. The younger is privy to the older's mood swings and attitude.

"Hey Phi" Param said as he walked alongside him.

Bjorn just hummed in response.

"Don't think too much about Jay's reaction" Param commented. "You know how he can be at times"

Bjorn snorted. "He's old enough to make choices Param. I just hope he makes the right one" he said with a somber smile.

Param can't help but worry at that statement and reaction. He grew up alongside the brothers since their families are pretty close and he knew that both of them never ever had any disagreement or grudges against the other. They are the perfect siblings.

As their last class ended, Param took his leave after bidding Bahiyyah and Bjorn goodbye. He needed to pick up his younger siblings as they go home together. Bjorn turned to Bahiyyah.

"Can you take Jay home? I have to meet my groupmates to sort out our report and I don't know how long it would take" he said.

Bahiyyah could sense something was off but she overlooked it, thinking both boys could sort it out later on. She smiled at him and nodded.

"Sure. Just text him, yeah? And tell your parents as well as I don't want to be grilled to ashes as to why you aren't home yet" she said in teasing manner.

Bjorn just chuckled. "Yeah, don't worry. I know how overacting Papa could be"

With that, they went on separate ways.

It was almost 10 o' clock in the evening when Bjorn arrived and he was met by a lounging Beam in the leaving room. When the older man heard the front door opening, he stood up to welcome his eldest.

"Hey, Beej" he said as he gave his son a peck on his cheek. "Have you had dinner?"

Bjorn hugged his Papa and returned the kiss. "Hmmm just some snack. I saved some space for yours and Dad's scrumptious cooking" he said with a grin.

"Come, I'll prepare your food" Beam said as he wrapped his arm around his son's waist.

"Not that I'm refusing or complaining but...Pa shouldn't you be resting with Dad? I can take care of my food you know...I hate keeping you up late at night when you could be taking your beauty rest" Bjorn said as he sat on the counter as he watched Beam move around the kitchen.

"Nah, Iove doing this for you guys when I have the chance. You know that" the older man said as he placed the plates and food in front of his son.

Bjorn just chuckled and srarted to dig in. He knows how lovely their parents could be. They do compensate for the hours they are busy at work every chance they get so that they wouldn't feel neglected.

"Oh" Beam suddenly remembered something as he sat beside Bjorn. "Jay was dropped off by his Senior earlier and the funny thing is, Bea arrived after them. Do you know that boy?"

Bjorn just arched an eyebrow at that. 'So, it wasn't Bea who drove him home' he thought to himself. He shrugged his shoulders and sighed.

"Well, he's one of the Hazers...P'Kai knows him and I met him a few times. I actually asked Bea to give him a lift but I guess he preferred to go with his Senior then" he said nonchalantly.

"Seems like a nice kid...polite and good looking I must say" Beam voiced out his thoughts.

"And troublesome too" Bjorn murmured under his breath before taking a spoonful of his food.

"What was that?" Beam asked.

"Have you spoken with him?" Bjorn answered with another question.

Beam smiled. "Just a brief introduction though since I got a call from the hospital"

Bjorn finished eating and brought the dishes to the sink to have them washed. Once he was done he faced his Papa with an endearing smile. "Let's call it a day Pa. It's getting late and I need to be up early tomorrow since I jave another project to focus on"

Beam sighed. "Aish, my baby is being a responsible student. Don't work too hard okay? Take a breather from time to time" he said as he gave him a goodnight kiss on the forehead.

Jaron walked in to have breakfast with his parents and siblings. When he looked around, he noticed Bjorn isn't with them.

"Where's Phi?" he asked.

"Oh, he left early. He had another project to work on at the library. I could drop you off along with your siblings, if you want?" Forth offered.

Jaron hummed in response as he sat down to eat. Beam passed him the basket of bread followed by the jam and gave him a glass of orange juice.

In no time, they were done with breakfast and Forth was driving his children to school. He dropped the younger ones first before going to Jaron's building.

"How's Engineering treating you?" He asked his son to break the silence.

Jaron smiled at him. "A bit tough with all the Maths but I think I could pull through"

"Don't hesitate to ask for help, alright? You've got loads of Engineers around you with different specialties who are willing to help you...just tell me if they refuse so I could smack them in the head" Forth said with a chuckle.

Jaron laughed at his father's statement. "It feels weird to have you drive me to school Dad but I enjoyed it"

Forth ruffled his hair. "This kid. I'm sorry if both your Papa and I are too busy most of the time and it's just Beej who's looking after you four mostly"

Jaron pulled Forth into a hug as they were parked in front of the Engineering building already. "I'm not complaining Dad. You and Papa are wonderful. We understand that our companies need you and there are a lot of employees depending on you guys. You both make up for the times we miss you so that's fine"

Forth smiled fondly at him. "How did your Papa and I become so lucky to have you and your siblings? We couldn't ask for better children since you guys are the best. Now go before you get late" he said as he dropped a peck on his forehead.

"I love you Dad" Jaron said as he pecked on his Dad's cheek before getting out of the car.

A/N: Another filler chapter...

I'm sad and my heart is bleeding 😭😭😭 one of my nephews who is close to me like a son has passed away yesterday and it all happened in a blink of an eye...he's working overseas and it pains me so much that I won't ever be able to speak with him and hear his tinkling laughter.

I've had other relatives who passed away but this one struck me so much.

I'm trying to update to distract myself from continuously crying.
