078 | just the norm

The day has just ended and Kyros was one of the few people who had to stay back before going home. He needed to do paperwork regarding the SOTUS orientation and he is joined by his friends.

"I never expected for that Jamornhum boy to be...I don't even know how to describe it" Padbok suddenly commented.

Kyros remained silent and just waited for whatever the others would say. He chose to continue working on the report.

"Were you expecting him to be obnoxious and be a jerk like you?" Sandee snickered.

That earned him a smack on the head and a kick to the shin from Padbok. "I mean, his father is the wealthiest in the country and their family is well-known around the globe"

Kyros chose to speak up by then. "Watch it. That boy is like a brother to me. We grew up almost alongside each other so I won't take shit from you guys if it's about those three"

Padbok and Sandee gulped in fear. They knew how tough and rough their friend and Head Hazer is. No one would want to be in the receiving end of his fist. They both raised their hands in surrender.

"Good to know you understand" Kyros said.

"Hmmm...speaking of, I was thinking of having him as the Moon for our faculty and that girl from Civil...Eve, was it?" Rich suggested.

Kyros gave it a thought before asking, "Why him? Not that I'm against the idea"

"Well, he's good looking, damn hot in my opinion...he' definitely bag the title...both of them will" Rich answered as he slacked in his seat.

Kyros narrowed his eyes at his friend. "Oi Pricha! Didn't I say hands off? That boy is off limits unless you want to cause havoc in the country"

"Why are you so protective of that kid? We get that he's like your baby brother but dude, you didn't react like that when someone hit on your actual brother earlier" Sandee tried to reason out.

"Well, to answer that" Sage said as he stepped in the Hazer's office, which surprised the four guys. "You wouldn't want the Vongviphans and Jamornhums breathing down your neck, would you?"

Kyros stood up and gave his boyfriend a welcome kiss. Yep, they've been dating since the Engineering student stepped foot into the University while Sage was into his third year studying law.

"Yep, and you wouldn't want to mess with them. Besides, if he gets to be the Moon of Engineering, I bet my car his brother is going to be the Moon of Medical" Kyros said as he wrapped an arm around his boyfriend's waist.

"So P'Sage, since you were friends with Kai since then, you also knew them?" Padbok asked out of curiousitu.

Sage smiled as he sat in one of the chairs while Kyros went back to his report. "My parents work for them. The family lawyer and the family doctor. I grew up with them, same with Kai and Al. They're a tough enemy to deal with but a pleasant ally"

"You mentioned Vongviphan earlier. What's he got to do with that family?" Sandee asked.

"The Vongviphan heir married the Jamornhum heir you dumbass" Rich answered. "Jaron is half Vongviphan and half Jamornhum" he elaborated for their friend.

Sage just silently observed as the friends continue to banter about the freshmen, namely Jaron Jamornhum, Atlas Ruangroj and Lucien Sutthapong. He also didn't miss the change in one of the boys' expression when the name Vongviphan was mentioned.

Sage carried Kyros' bag for him as they walked towards the parking lot. It has been a routine for him to bring the younger man to school and pick him up since they started dating.

"Did Al drive himself to school?" Sage asked as they got inside the car.

"Yeah, he did. It think he picked up Luc in the morning" Kyros answered as he buckled up in his seat.

Sage observed him for a while before starting the engine. "Tough day?" He asked.

"Not really, just the usual" Kyros answered with a chuckle. "But tiring still"

Sage clicked his tongue. "You'll get the hang of it. You had your Senior Head Hazer before but now everything is your responsibility" he said as he reached out to clasp the younger's hand in his.

"Maybe that's it or maybe because I want my brothers to just enjoy SOTUS" Kyros said with a sigh.

"You're worried that they might find it boring or too overwhelming?" Sage prompted.

Kyros looked at him helplessly. "You know how it is. You've seen what we had to go through. Some didn't even give it any importance"

"But you still made it babe. You had great memories with your faculty. Start from there. It may be tough. College life isn't a walk in the park and so is life" Sage said.

Kyros sighed and looked out the window, his hand still in the older's. "Oh boy, I think I need to go through the things I've prepared and maybe make a few adjustments"

"That's the spirit" Sage said as he let go of his hand in order to switch gears. "Would you like to have dinner with me or you'd rather have it at home?"

"How about dinner and I stay at your place?" Kyros suggested instead.

Sage chuckled. "Won't Uncle Arthit blow up my head anytime soon now? You've been spending too much time at my place than your house"

"Is it bad? Papa doesn't mind as long as he knows I'm still alive" Kyros said with those puppy eyes Sage couldn't resist.

"As long as you're sure. Else you'll be mourning me soon" Sage said mockingly towards his boyfriend.

They were already at the restaurant's parking lot and were about to get off the car. Kyros stuck his tongue out at Sage and rolled his eyes.

"Such a drama queen. You know my parents love you more than me. They would've trade me for you already if that's possible" the younger one said.

"Pot kettle babe" Sage snickered. "Let's get you fed. You're just low in carb"

They walked together hand in hand towards their favourite restaurant, while teasing each other nonstop. Just like what they've been doing since that day they landed in Bangkok. Only now as lovers.
