It was the day Bren agreed to meet with his younger half-siblings, the Kiraguns. It was Lem who arranged the meeting and the Kiraguns weren't aware of their oldest siblings presence. He was accompanied by Bahiyyah for support too.
Bren and Bahiyyah were at Lem's bedroom when the others arrived. Both of them could hear the happy chatter as they exhanged pleasantries downstairs.
When everyone was settled, the girls on the couch and Rich standing by the sliding door leading to the balcony and gazing outside, Lem brought them refreshments. He sat on the chair and took a deep breath.
"I asked you all here because someone wanted to meet you" Lem said as he looked towards the stairs.
They all looked up and saw Bren walking down with Bea behind him. He gave them an apprehensive smile as walked down.
"P'Bren" Anya greeted him and ran towards him to embrace him.
Bren just gave them a warm smile as he hugged her back. "Hello Nong" he greeted her and looked at the rest. "And to all of you too"
"Hey Phi" Rich answered with a smile.
"Hello P'Bren" Pree and Annie said at the same time.
"Thank you for coming here" Bren began. "I just wanted to see all of you, together. And maybe get to know my siblings"
The Kiraguns were stumped with Bren's words. They weren't expecting that. When they were on their way, they thought they would just hang out with Lem.

"Huh?" It was Rich who reacted first.
Bahiyyah giggled at Rich's reaction and said, "Surprise?"
"How?" Annie asked.
Bren chuckled. "The moment I met and learnt who Lem was, I was kinda expecting that he won't be the last sibling I'm meeting. Somehow, unconsciously, I know and I can feel it. I was just in denial...and to be honest, my life is already at peace...but there is still that part of me that has questions. For now, this is all I can do...I'm not yet ready to meet her"
Annie silently wiped the tears streaming down her face. Pree was trying to hold herself back in running towards their eldest brother to wrap him in her embrace. Anya just clung to Bren's arms and kept on smiling. Rich? He just stood by the door and continued gaping at Bren.
"Come here, you big buffalo" Bren made a hereto gesture towards Rich. "I heard you were looking forward to meet me, us"
Rich hesitantly approached Bren and let himself be wrapped in the older's embrace. It took a while for it to sink for Rich and when it did, he hugged his long lost brother tightly.
"Promise me you'll talk to Jay about this. I can't save you from P'Beam and P'Forth if you hurt that kid. Might as well kill you if that happens" Bren murmured into his brother's ear.
Rich chuckled. "I will...now that you know about it"
"Such a small world...who would've thought you are all from the same woman" Bahiyyah commented without malice. "I never guessed that P'Bren is a half-sibling"
Annie frowned at that. "Then what did you think of P'Lem and P'Bren?"
Bahiyyah laughed. "Like how P'Forth and P'Lam is...or P'Beam, P'Pha and P'Kit are...our parents tend to be overwhelming to my brothers' friends...to the point that they are only lacking adoption papers to be legally part of the family"
"I didn't think you were that oblivious Bea" Pree said with widened eyes.
Bahiyyah rolled her eyes at her best friend's comment. "Just because I don't tend to pay attention to trivial things and gossip doesn't mean I'm totally clueless...I was already wondering why P'Bren calls our Mom as Mae but we call our Dad as Dad...I just chose to ignore that and go on with my life since it's not harming anyone"
Bren chuckled at her answer. "We've been living a sheltered life. Any complications and Bea will go the other way to avoid it"
"Sue me for wanting a peaceful and easygoing life. Having business tycoons for parents didn't help at all...also with P'Beam and P'Forth... nothing can be normal" Bahiyyah retorted.
The Kiraguns and Lem could only laugh at Bren and Bahiyyah's interaction. It sure did help in easing the tension in the room.
"I heard you have a daughter Phi" Anya said. "Can we meet her sometimes?"
Bren beamed at them. "Sure. I'll bring her and my husband the next time we meet...maybe you can even visit us at home"
Annie smiled at that. "We'd love to P'Bren"
"Oh I'm sure as hell you'll love Bliss. She is such a darling, like P'Beam's Bian and Rees. You should see them making trouble to their dads" Bahiyyah said with a laugh.
"What are they up to" Pree curiously asked. "They seem like innocent angels when we met them"
"Oh no! Not when they are left alone! Those three are trouble together" Bren groaned.
Bahiyyah took her wallet and keys from the entry table and started to wear her shoes.
"Where are you going?" Annie asked.
"Oh, I'll leave you with your overdramatic eldest brother. I have a date" Bahiyyah said with a wink.
"Oi!" Bren and Lem protested at the same time.
"Who said you're allowed to date?" Bren asked with an arched brow.
"Oh come on Phi" Bahiyyah responded with an eyeroll to both doctors. "You have other three sisters who you could go overprotective with. Leave me alone. Besides, I can take care of myself"
Lem groaned. "You just made us as an escape goat from Mae Bree and Por Bo. I love my life Bea. If your parents doesn't come after me first, it would be your P'Beam and P'Forth"
"Same goes for me" Bren grumbled. "Who are you going out with?"
"Chill. I'm just hanging out with the boys. Luc, Al and Mikah have been missing me" Bahiyyah said with a giggle.
"You better be Bea. I'll never hear the end of it" Bren griped.
Bahiyyah left with a laugh, leaving the siblings behind to bond.
