It was Jaron's first time to venture out of the house without Bjorn. Usually, they are together in everything that they do and everywhere they go. Today though, Bjorn had to stay behind to look after Rees and Bon since they are a bit clingy to him these past days.

Jaron really needed to go out as he need to buy his school stuff, ones he'll be needing for a project. He was accompanied by his personal security who blended well with the crowd and stayed at a certain distance from him, leaving an impression the Jaron Jamornhum is shopping alone.

He was done buying the things he needs and was just browsing thru the shops to see if anything would catch his interest. He went inside a well-known shoe shop and looked around.

"Jaron?" Someone called him.

He turned around to find his senior, Rich, who had a bag of shoes in his hand.

"Buying the latest model? I didn't peg you as a shoe enthusiast" Rich said with a friendly smile.

Jaron smiled back, a timid one. "Not really Phi. I was just looking around" he answered. "Nice seeing you Phi" he added after a few seconds and turned to leave.

"Hey, would you like to grab a bite?" Rich called after him.

Jaron stopped and contemplated whether to accept or not. He chuckled a bit and turned around. "Are you hitting on me Phi?" He asked with an amused smile.

Rich was a bit taken aback. He wasn't expecting the younger to read his moves. "I don't see anything wrong in asking a Nong to eat together. I'll be honest and say that you definitely caught my attention and I don't see anything wrong if I pursue you" he said confidently.

Jaron laughed openly. "I'll be honest too" he said and looked him in the eye. "I'm not interested. See you around Phi" he added and turned around to leave the shop, without looking back.

Rich was left behind, gaping at the younger man. It took a few minutes for him to recover and started chuckling to himself. 'You make me curious. Being a Vongviphan is a plus' he thought to himself as he stared at the direction the younger took.

Jaron didn't mention the incident to anyone and he knew his guards wouldn't mention anything to his parents. The encounter wasn't even threatening so it wouldn't bother them, more like amuse them.

"Hey Phi" he greeted Bjorn as he entered the other's room.

"Hey" Bjorn greeted back as he looked away from his laptop. "How was shopping?"

Jaron chuckled. "Amusing"

Bjorn arched an eyebrow. "Care to share?"

"Nothing special, just people staring, gawking and a few hitting on me, flirting...the likes" Jaron answered as he sat on the bed.

"Did you go to the mall or the bar?" Bjorn asked with a laugh.

Jaron joined his brother in laughing.

"I'm surprised you haven't encountered such in school. Engineering students are quite known for being bold and wild" Bjorn said after the laughter died down and looked teasingly at his brother.

"Oh shut it P'Beej! They're too scared of P'Kai to even make any move" Jaron snickered.

"I'm glad he's looking out for you" Bjorn said woth a genuine smile.

"How about you Phi? Anyone caught your interest?" Jaron asked.

Bjorn looked at him and continued smiling. "I'll tell you when there's already someone. Right now my focus is on my studies, your safety and P'Bea's and of course, Dad and Papa's happiness"

Jaron frowned at that. "You've always been like that Phi. You always prioritise us above anything else"

Bjorn shook his head, still smiling. "I don't see anything wrong with that. You are my family, you guys are important to me and I love you, our parents and our other siblings. That's how I love. Should I change it?"

The two have been close since they became a family and they are a force to known by their family and friends. This is the first that Jaron heard his brother's reasoning for the way he is and made him love him more.

"I'm not saying it's wrong Phi. I just want you to consider yourself first sometimes. If a decision will make you happy or not" Jaron mumbled.

Bjorn just snickered. "Why are we even talking about this, you brat"

Jaron stuck his tongue out. "Maybe I'm excited for you to have a lovelife"

"Bothered much? I won't be having one in the near future, maybe not at all" Bjorn bantered back.

"Urgh...you're a hard one to crack! Suit yourself. I curse you to find your 'The one' and fall in love soon" Jaron countered.

"Whatever" Bjorn rolled his eyes. "Now if you're done pestering me, go and check on the kids. I just need to finish my homework then we could hang out at the pool"

Monday came to soon. Bjorn and Jaron made sure to spend time with their younger siblings during the weekend as they wouldn't want to break their routine. Forth and Beam couldn't be any happier to see their children so close to one another.

Jaron was on his way to the Moon and Star rehearsals when he was met by Rich on the way. He couldn't help but roll his eyes at seeing his senior, nevertheless, he greeted him.

"P'Rich" he said as he clasped his hands before him and bowed.

"Hey Nong" Rich greeted back. "I'm here to accompany you to rehearsals"

Jaron knows that it has been a tradition to have a senior Moon accompany the faculty's new Moon to rehearsals and the entire journey of the event. He couldn't help but also think that the older would take advantage of the situation.

"Okay Phi" the younger acknowledged and continued walking.

Rich just smiled and followed him.

Bjorn and Bahiyyah were already there at the venue, talking with Pree. Jaron decided to join them to avoid having awkwardness with his senior.
