"At ease soldier." Fury said, walking up a confused Steve Rogers, "Look I'm sorry about that little show back there, but. We thought it is best to break it to you slowly." He added,

"Break what?" Steve questioned looking at the man,

"You've been asleep Cap." Fury hesitated with a sigh, "For almost 70 years." He added again,

the sound of the city noise, the big lights. All the people, the fashion. Everything confused Steve. The cars, buses. And on top of all of that, the blond had been asleep for nearly 70 years. All those years he could've spent with Peggy and Cassie-

"You going to be okay?" The man asked him, the blond didn't even know he'd turned around to look at everything,

"Yeah. Yeah, it's just, I had a date." He sighed, thinking about Peggy having to grow up without him for all those years,

"Well, we best get you back," Fury spoke, as the two men walked up to a black SUV,

"When can I see Cassie?" The blond questioned as the two men sat in the car,

"Who?" The older man looked at him confused,

"Cassie. Elizabeth Carter?" Steve questioned, and Fury shook his head, "The redhead woman in the plane with me?" He questioned again,

"Captain, there was nobody in the plane when we found you. It was empty." Nick told him as he watched the blond man get confused,

"No. She was with me, you have to look again, she was standing right beside me when the plane crashed." Steve stammered on his words,

Cassie was the only person that was on the plane with him, she was standing right beside him. She should've been on the plane. She had to have been. Where else could've been the redhead be?

"We did search the plane. No one was with you. It was just you," Fury told him,

1949

waking up with a groan, Cassie didn't know what was happening for a minute. Only what felt like a few minutes ago she was saying goodbye to Peggy when Steve crashed the plane. She should be dead,

"Your awake." A familiar voice was sounded beside her body,

fluttering open her eyes, she looked up to someone non-other than Arnim Zola, but he looked older. Not a lot older, maybe just a few years "What's happening? I should be dead." She croaked out,

"Yes, well there are other plans for you." The older man smiled at the redhead,

"What are you talking about? Where am I? And wheres Steve?" She questioned, trying to look around, but not to her surprise she was strapped down to the wooden table,

"Your Hydar base and Captain Rogers is still in the plane you crashed four years ago," Zola explained to the redhead,

"four years ago? Is that why you look older?" She smirked at the man, even if her body was stiff, her mind was wild with questions.

"Yes, four years ago Captain Rogers crashed the plane into the Athletic Ocean. But while Hydra was trying to find the tesseract, we found you." He spoke as he stroked the girl's wet hair,

but before the man could talk any more, the redhead landed a glass container on top of the doctors head. "Thanks to you little experiments you did on me a few years back, I can now do this." She glared at the man,
