Chapter 4

Naruto's POV

I look at the building beside this building where Sasuke has started to live. Obviously that building looks fine and apartment in that building will be quite expensive. This building where I live is quite old and that's why apartments in this building are quite cheap to rent.

In these days I'm trying not to go outside that much until it's really necessary for me to go outside. Whenever I go outside, I see Sasuke smoking outside or waiting under my building for me to come out.

He can even see me from the window of his apartment. He chose a perfect apartment for him to have an eye on me. I feel really uncomfortable sometimes but there isn't much I can do. I have to endure these until I move out after finishing study.

I was on my way to go to the school and there he is. But looks like he isn't alone today. He's with the Hyuga siblings today. Neji and Sasuke are smoking together and Hinata is taking in all the smoke. Doesn't she feel the urge to vomit?

Neji and Hinata both are popular in our school for doing all the bad shits and drugs. They are even rumoured to be involved in some kind of shady stuffs. It's not like Sasuke isn't same as them but still it'd be good if they stopped hanging out together. They are bad influence but why am I even worrying about the person who ruined my life?

"Hey, what's the deal with you?" I came back to my senses hearing Neji's voice. I had no idea that I was staring at him for minutes. I avert my gaze immediately. I was about to cross them trying to avoid unnecessary conversation but Neji stopped me again.

"Why were you looking at me like that? Were you looking down on me?" I reply,"Why would I do that?" Neji says,"It surely looked like that." Hinata says to me,"Look kid, you don't even know us that well so it'd be better for you if you stop judging people without knowing them properly."

I didn't even say anything to them or they just read my mind? Neji says,"Stop sweet talking Hinata. This nerd surely has nerves. I hate people when they look at us like that." Neji was about to come forward balling his fist but Sasuke stops him. Sasuke says looking at Neji coldly,"Neji, stop before it starts to become messed up."

Neji says to Sasuke,"Look Sasuke, I considered you as my friend and that's why I'm trying to do everything to help you. But it's the last time I'm sparing him. Nobody can look at me like that." Sasuke replies,"I consider you as my friend too but I won't let anyone land a hit on him." I look at them. Both look like they are friends and also enemies at the same time. I couldn't care less about them so I left them right there without causing any more trouble.

"Why are you late today?" Sai asks me after I entered the classroom. I reply,"I caught myself in an unnecessary argument." Sai says,"You are not someone who'll start any fight. Tell me, what really happened?" I tell him,"I just told you the truth. However, I need to visit our class teacher. I'll request him to let me switch seats."Sai says excitedly,"I'll go with you!" I nod and get up from my seat.

"May I come in sir?" The teacher turns his head to us and and replies,"Yes, come in." We both go to him and seeing us the teacher asks,"What's the reason for you to visit me personally Sai and Naruto?" Sai says,"It's not for me. I just accompanied him." The teacher asks me,"What's the reason for you you to come here?"

I reply being a little hesitant,"Can I switch seats with some other student?" The teacher frowns. He asks,"Why do you want to do that?" I reply,"I just don't feel comfortable with sitting with Sasuke." The teacher says,"It's going to be quite problematic now to switch seats."

I try to reason with saying,"But I can go around asking students to switch seats. I'm pretty much sure that some of them will be wanting to do that."
The teacher says rudely,"Look Naruto, I don't want you to cause any trouble right now. Just deal with him for now. I didn't see him bothering you or doing anything. So there's no reason for you to switch seats."

I tell him again,"But how he scared my old seat mate off and..." The teacher cuts me off saying,"I want you to go back to your class. If I ever see him doing anything to you, I'll help you then. Now go." We both turn our backs feeling despaired. Don't tell me that the teachers are also afraid of them.

Sai says sighing,"He surely could help you. Would you like me to switch seats with you?" I reply,"No, I'll be alright." It'd me okay for anyone to switch seats with me but not Sai. Sasuke clearly hates him. Who knows what would happen if they starts to sit together.

"Where did you go?" I see Sasuke standing before the door of our classroom folding his arms like he was waiting for us to come. I reply somehow feeling nervous,"And why should I answer your question?" Sai says,"Why are you making things more complicated? Just tell him that you went to your teacher wanting to switch seats."

Sasuke's eyes become wide for a few seconds. I see his jaw clenching. It was a wrong move Sai. I wanted to do it secretly. It'd be alright after I really got to switch seats. Sasuke says to Sai trying to be calm,"And what was the reason for him to do that?"

Sai says shrugging his shoulders,"You surely make him uncomfortable, what else?" That's the last thing for Sasuke to loose all of his patience. He grabbed my hand out of nowhere and starts to drag me. Sai yells,"Hey! What are you doing!" I turn my head and tell Sai,"Don't follow me! I'll be alright." Sai looks hesitant, he would follow me if I didn't forbid him but I can't get him into this mess. I give him one last look that he shouldn't follow me and then I let myself be dragged my the angry Sasuke right in front of me.

"What are you doing! Let go of me!" I yell at Sasuke who just dragged me to this washroom which is empty. Sasuke pinned me against the cold wall and he looks furious. He says,"Why are you trying so hard to run away from me again and again? Don't you really understand it's out of your hand to run away from me?"

"There's no harm to try again so that I finally can run away from you." I tell him even though I know running away from him is impossible at this moment. Sasuke smiles like a psychopath and says grabbing both of my hands, pinning them against the wall making me look helpless,"Okay, try doing everything. It'd be quite amusing to see you running like a rat running on a wheel. But in the end, you will have to come back to me."

Then he presses his forehead against me and says,"No one can take you away from me. I never loved someone like I love you. I never let anyone take my loved things away from me. You are not going to be any different."

I tell him,"How are you even sure that you really love me? You were kind of obsessed with me from the very first. You never really cared for me but when you saw me getting closer to any other person, you used to scare the person away." Sasuke replies,"I don't know what you are talking about. I didn't ever think about those things deeply. All I know is that I want you back. I really love you Naruto and I know that you still love me too. Why don't you come back to me?"

I look away and tell him,"I don't love you anymore like before. I'm not a plaything that you can play anytime and throw away after playing. Just stop these nonsense and let me live." Sasuke moves his head and looks straight into me eyes and says,"Are you sure that you really don't love me anymore." I clench my jaw and look into his eyes just like he's doing. I tell him again even though it's not completely true, in my heart I may have some remaining feelings for him,"Yes, I don't."

Sasuke lets go of me hearing that. He pushes me to the door and yells,"Fuck, Naruto! How can you just.... Shit, just go the fuck away!" I freeze right at the spot. Sasuke screams again furiously,"Get the fuck out of here!" I flinch and run away being scared of him. This side of Sasuke reminds me of Itachi. Whenever I think of Itachi, it makes me cold in fear. No wonder that they are brothers.
