Chapter 3

Naruto's POV

"Here I bought some food for you." I look up and see Sasuke standing there. I ask him,"Are you going somewhere?" He says,"Yes, I'll go to Sakura's home." I feel my stomach churning. My parents died and my mental state is messed up. It's really heart breaking to see how Sasuke doesn't really care for me.

"Did they bury them properly? Are they getting a proper funeral?" I ask him about my parents. Sasuke says shrugging his shoulders,"I don't know. Dad hates them too much to show them that much respect. But if the press and paparazzi follow them, dad will have to arrange a funeral."

I sigh. Sasuke gets up and says,"I'll be off." My eyes widen. I tug on his jacket before he can leave. He stops and turned his head to look at me. I ask him,"Won't you be coming home tonight?" Sasuke says,"I won't or Sakura will start nagging."

I let go of his jacket. I hear him saying again,"Don't worry, Itachi will be here. You don't need to be scared now." I balled my fist. I don't want Sasuke to leave this house. I want don't want him to leave me with Itachi alone.

I start to pant for air after waking up. Why am I having those flashbacks? Now that Sasuke came back, I'll get too see more nightmares. Not that I stopped seeing them. I look at the clock, it's still early to wake up but still I closed my eyes trying to sleep again.

"You have bags under your eyes, aren't you sleeping well?" Sai says to me looking closely. I tell him moving my head away from his face,"I needed to study that's why." Sai says,"But that won't do good to your health. Try to sleep more at night."

"Hey, step aside." We both look up and see Sasuke standing there looking pissed. Sai rolls his eyes and says to me,"I'll go for now. See you during the lunch break." I nod and see him going to his own seat.

"You'll sit with me at the cafeteria." I tell him,"I won't." Sasuke says,"Don't make me angry now, Naruto." I ignore him and take a book out of my bag. He clicks his tongue and gets his phone out of his pocket. "Hey Itachi."

My heart skipped a beat hearing that name. I hear them talking. "It's alright." "Let him die and come home." "Bye." I clench my jaw. They still are into those shabby business. I tried everything to help Sasuke so that he leave his stupid group. All of them were worst.

But the influence of Itachi on him was too much. His brother was the one who used to drag Sasuke into things that they really shouldn't do. They used to do things that can put them into jail but that "Uchiha" tag on their name used to help them to get away from everything. The man "Fugaku Uchiha" also used to spoil them so much that they grew up like this. Always they look down on people and see themselves as gods. I hate every one of them.

I see him turning off his phone. I ask him even though I don't want to make any conversation with him,"Is Itachi here too?" Sasuke replies,"Yeah, we both are staying together for now." I purse my lips. I don't want to cross paths with him. Itachi is someone who's dangerous. He cares for his brother too. But one thing I'm sure is, he hates me too much.

"If we start to live together like before, I could tell Itachi to leave that house. I'm sure he won't mind." I hear him telling me. I tell him,"That's not going to happen." Sasuke mumbles,"We will see."

"Hey, why are you still sitting here?" I see a long haired guy coming here. When Sasuke became friends with that guy? With him there's a girl who just looks like him. Sasuke replies pointing to me,"This is the guy I talked about." That guy looked at me and raised his one eyebrow. He was popular for being the bad boy of this school and his sister always hangs around him, Neji and Hinata.

Neji says,"Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on him." What the heck? Why would they do that? Hinata says,"Isn't he the guy who's always with Sai?" Neji says shrugging his shoulders,"That so called golden boy? Huh!" Hinata chuckles. Seems like Neji doesn't like Sai.

Sasuke made a group of him that has people who are just like him. Neji, Kiba, Gaara, shino. All of them are popular here in a bad way and now hangs around Sasuke. Sasuke has something in him that makes him look like a leader. He attracts people who are bad news. No wonder he's hanging with guys like them.

Sasuke says,"That guy is surely annoying. I hope he doesn't piss me off otherwise I'll have to break every bone of his body." All of them are getting on my nerves. I tell Sasuke,"Why would you do that? He has done nothing to you." Sasuke frowns and moves his head to face me. He says,"Why are you getting angry? Why does it matter to you? Do you like him or what?"

I know a wrong answer can make Sai's life hell. I answer,"No I don't. He's just a friend of mine. I just don't want you to ruin his bright future that's all." Sasuke chuckles mockingly and says,"Bright future,huh?"

Finally, it's time for me to go home. I don't have enough patience to sit beside Sasuke and hear his bullshits. I'll have to tell our teacher to let me switch seats with somebody else. I'm sure many people would love to sit beside Sasuke.

"Narutoooo!" I see Sai running to me. He says stopping before me,"Why are you leaving without me?" I reply,"I had to go home early that's why I couldn't wait for you." Sai says,"Whatever. Let's leave together now." I nodded and was about to walk with him but a car stops right in front of us.

Both of us stop. Sai says,"Who the heck drives their car like that!" The window of that car opens revealing Sasuke sitting inside. Sasuke notices both of us and says,"Naruto, get in here." I frown seeing his attitude toward me. I tell him politely,"I don't want to. My house isn't far so I'll walk." I hear him clicking his tongue. Sasuke says again,"Get in here before I get real pissed."

Before I can say anything Sai speaks,"Who the hell do you think you are? And since when you became close to Naruto to give him ride?" Sasuke replies,"Listen you fucker, you don't even know us and our relationship. You better fuck off before I start to mess with your life."

Sai says,"Am I supposed to fear you now? Just because you are an Uchiha? Don't make me laugh." I grab Sai's arm and give it a little pressure trying to give him a hint to shut up. Sai turns his head to face me and gives me a questioning look.

I tell Sai,"Let me talk with him. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" Sai says being annoyed,"Don't tell me.." He looks at me and seeing my eyes he calms down. Sai says to me sighing,"I know something is going on here. Call me if you are in trouble." I nod and smile at him. I get into the car. I can see Sai standing there until Sasuke starts to drive his car.

Sasuke says,"It's really astonishing for me to see you smile at someone other than me." I tell him,"I used to be like that because you were my only best friend and now you are not." Sasuke says,"It's not like I don't like to see you smile, I just don't want you to smile at others. I don't feel good seeing it." I reply,"Hearing these things from you makes me feel disgusted now."

Sasuke stays quite after that. The whole ride both of us were silent. I can't let Sasuke know about my apartment. I need to stop the car before I reach my place. "Stop here." Sasuke looks at me frowning. I tell him,"My apartment is over there." I point to a building. Sasuke stops his car.

I tell him,"I'll be going then. It would be good if you just leave me alone from tomorrow." I was about to open the door of the car and leave. But Sasuke grabs my arm and stops me from doing that. "Did you think that you can fool me?" My eyes grow bigger and I turn around again.

Sasuke's smirk is visible. I gulp feeling nervous. He speaks,"I know where you live. I came here after gathering all the information about you. If you think I'll let you run away from my sight, it's not going to happen."

My heart is beating faster and my breathing is fast too. I see him coming closer again and now I'm pinned against the car door. Sasuke says smirking evilly,"I'll be seeing you more after today. After all we are neighbors."
