Chapter 15

Naruto's POV

"You guys are together again!" Kiba says loudly grabbing everyone's attention seeing Sai and me hanging out together again. Sai asks him smirking,"Why wouldn't we?" Kiba says smirking back raising both of his eyebrows,"I thought some kind of lover's quarrel happened."

I warn Kiba,"Watch your mouth while saying things like that. People can take it in a wrong way." Kiba says shrugging his shoulders,"Dramatic as always. However I'm going back to my group." Saying that he leaves.

Sai says after turning to face me,"Why do I feel like you've gotten skinnier? Let's go to the cafeteria, hurry up." Sai drags me with him. He says things out of nowhere and I always end up following him. It feels like he's my guardian.

I was eating my own food while Sai was talking to a bunch of guys who ended up sitting with us. Sai always hangs out with them when he isn't with me. He's always with me that's why he doesn't meet up with them that much and that's why some of them probably hate me.

"Are you saying, he isn't into that shit?" I hear them talking. "Our school is filled with delinquents." "And the new group of that Uchiha, they don't even come here to study." "Why don't we join them?" "They won't take us in. Sai and Kiba should give it a chance to get into it." Sai says showing how uninterested he's,"Why would I join those good for nothing people?"

The guys speak. "They have a lot of advantages if you look into it. They do shits but get away with everything." Sai says,"Does those make them any good? Do you think my parents will approve if I start to hang out with them?" Kiba says after being silent until now,"Yeah they'll probably kick you out if they ever see you with the Hyuga siblings."

Then Kiba turns to face me and says raising his one eyebrow,"I saw you with Sasuke a few times actually. Does he bully you or what?" Sai stiffens. I lie through my teeth,"No, we ran into each other a few times and that's all." Saying that I start to ignore him as always.

"Holy shit, Yahiko is back with that chick." Kiba says pointing to the guy who just entered the cafeteria with a girl following him from behind. The guy who is our senior and the girl he always hangs out with is Konan. And there's his best friend Nagato who usually never attends school.

These are our popular seniors. In this school if you want to be popular, you'll probably have to do things that'll get you everyone's attention. Like fighting, causing trouble, being good-looking and obviously girls of our school like guys who act cool and change girls like clothes making them look irresistible.

Most of the students of this school come from rich families so they have to do extra things to stand out and be popular like them. Sai and Kiba, both of them are good-looking and they are in the football team. That's why they are considered to be popular. And here people know me as Sai's errand boy or a sidekick even though that isn't true, not even for a bit.

"Hey shut up, I'm not following him." We hear another high pitched voice. The owner of the voice is Deidara who is constantly yelling. And then a tall figure enters, Itachi Uchiha. Don't tell me he's here to study.

"Isn't he the older one? Itachi Uchiha?" "Yeah they look identical." Itachi's eyes are roaming around the whole cafeteria and finally he glanced at me. I quickly move my eyes to ignore his gaze. Then looking back at him, I see him not staring at me anymore.

Sai mutters,"He's here with Yahiko. Jerks hang out with jerks." Sai probably doesn't like Yahiko. Sai is more like a golden boy among all those bad boys in this school. Sasuke also makes his way into this cafeteria right after that.

This cafeteria now looks like a reunion place. "Why are you here, Itachi?" Sasuke asks his older brother. I become sure that he isn't here to study and I'm quite relieved.
