Naruto's POV

I have been busy for the upcoming exams in which I did well. Both I and Sai were pretty busy and were studying together as I was helping him studying. He says shamelessly thanking me,"Without you I would just fail in every subject. Without this I would have to let go of football too."

He scratches the back of his neck. I tell him,"No worries. I used some of your books too." Sai says smacking my arms playfully,"That's no big deal. Let me treat you with tasty tasty food."

These days the club activities were off too which I was grateful for. I was avoiding troublesome faces and I didn't get to see Sasuke that much too. He's avoiding me as much as I'm doing. I guess he hates me now. That's even better, isn't it?

I was passing through the corridor until a familiar figure blocked my way. I felt annoyed as I saw that face. I can't help but dislike Ino. I ask her,"What do you want now?"

Ino says,"Why do you have that look on your face? That is making you look even uglier."I tell her,"Then don't look at me. Step aside." Ino says,"Why? I was looking forward to have a chat with you. Can I?"

She convinced me to come with her to a cafe. She says tapping on the table with her long nails which are seemingly fake. She is already caked with make up, short skirt and everything about her is dazzling.

She says,"How's life going, Naruto?" She focused on my name while saying that sentence. I tell her,"I'm fine." Ino says,"Just as I thought. You finally got rid of Sasuke or maybe Sasuke is the one....who got rid of you?"

I tell her,"That's not something you need to know. We both needed to keep distance between us." Ino says,"I wonder how you are doing so fine. You have Sai, maybe he's more of your type." I snap,"Don't drag Sai into this. He has always been my friend."

Ino chuckles avoiding my statement and says,"Sai is a good replacement of Sasuke though. People would assume that they are brothers at the first glance." I tell her,"You better get out of your day dreams and lame assumptions. Go and chase after Sasuke now. I'm out of your way now."

Ino was chuckling some moments ago but now she's sighing. She says,"To tell you the truth I have no intention of doing that. Sasuke isn't someone I can have. He has gone out of our reaches." I ask her,"What do you mean?"

Ino says,"Sasuke, Sasuke will end up being dead someday Naruto." Hearing that my heart skipped a beat. Ino continues,"I thought he was doing these to become the cool kid but Sasuke doesn't need to act like one. Instead he has people who want to be like him, who follow him. He made a group with them. Doing shits he shouldn't do. I'm worried about him."

I ask her,"What is your reason to be worried for him? You don't even know him." Ino frowns. She almost yells,"I know! He reminds me of someone I lost Naruto! I won't talk about that but just know that I failed to protect that person and he was so much like Sasuke. I don't want Sasuke to go down in the same way."

I know where Ino is going about to. I speak,"And you want me to pull Sasuke to the right way, is that it?" Ino nods. She says,"I was wondering why Sasuke wants you. I thought you were just acting hard to get and Sasuke just was determined to get you. But I realized it was your effect that makes Sasuke act in different ways. Now that you broke apart, Sasuke is falling so deep."

I tell her stubbornly,"I have no intention to get involved with him anymore. You know nothing about us." Ino says,"Then you are okay with him going to the wrong way even ending up being killed by someone? I thought you were better than this."

I tell her,"I told you Ino, if someone is unwilling to do what is best for himself, nobody can make him do that. God didn't send you to show someone the right path. And the relationship between me and Sasuke is worse than you are thinking. I hope you understand."
