Chapter 7

Naruto's POV

Today is the weekend but the whole day I did nothing. Sai asked me to go to a party with him but the whole day I was in a foul mood. After yesterday I couldn't even close my eyes. The whole night I was wide awake and whenever I tried to sleep I was having nightmares.

The bag under my eyes are quite visible. But I'm not someone who care about appearance. I hear my stomach growling. I mumble after getting up from my bed,"Let's see what we have in my fridge." I make my way to the fridge but opening it I found nothing.

I could starve myself but my stomach literally hurts. I start to look into the pocket where I usually keep my money. Fidgeting with it I found a little amount of money I saved. I'll just go and buy some instant food.

It's already evening. The street is almost empty with no one around. Luckily Sasuke isn't standing under my building. After the fight, Sasuke stopped talking with me. It's a good thing for me though.

It feels chilly outside. I start to walk by the road to the nearest convenience store. It's not that much far from my apartment. I see the store. I open the door and enter the store. After buying whatever I needed I get out of the store and finally it's time to calm my empty stomach down.

I was about to turn my back to walk back to my apartment but I hear some muffling sounds. Then suddenly I hear yelling. Is someone fighting? I tried to ignore it and go back but my stubborn mind didn't let me do it. I sigh and enter the alley beside the store.

There's a club a little away and the alley leads to the club. This part of the town seems shady. I shouldn't have come here but still I'm walking ahead. Then suddenly the sounds become clearer and I can hear them yelling clearly.

"Where's the money!" "You fucking rat!" "Please let me go, I'll give it back to you as soon as I can." "Like hell you'll do that!" Then I hear a guy yelping in pain. My heart was about to jump out of my throat witnessing the argument. Why do I have to end up in places like this?

I mentally curse myself and was about to leave the place without making any sound. Hearing the argument it seems like both parties aren't normal. I tried to make no sound and escape but I ended up hitting myself against someone's chest.

I look up and see a tall guy looking down on me. I gulp seeing the guy and the guy quickly grabs my hand. All of the food I just bought ended up on the streets. I try to free myself and yell,"Hey! Let go of me!" The guy says,"You were snooping around like a rat and you are telling me to let you go? Let's just take you to him."

I try to reason with him saying,"Look, I was just someone who was passing by. I heard noises that's why I ended up here. How about you let me go and I'll keep my mouth shut?" The guy chuckles and says,"That didn't sound profitable at all. Keep quite and come with me."

That guy was strong. I couldn't put up a fight with my body with a little amount of muscles. He takes me to the place where is the fight is actually happening. A small crowd is already gathered here. It seems like a gang or something like that. Guys like them are dangerous. How did I even manage to come from my peaceful apartment and end up here?

"Hey, who's he?" A guy asks the guy who dragged me here. "I found him there." The guy points to the place where I was hiding. The other guy says pointing to me,"He can be trouble. Take him to him." The guy nods and starts to drag me with him again.

I see him taking me to the club. I ask him,"Hey! Are we really going inside?" The guy says,"Yeah. He isn't a person who'll stay at alleys like this. They are inside." I ask him being confused,"Who are referring to?" He says,"Stop being noisy. You'll see."

Looks like, I'll end up being murdered or something like that. He says something to the security guard who's standing outside. The guard nods letting us go. The club is already blasting with music. It's rare for me to come to a place like this. It's not like I came here willingly.

The guy starts to look around. Then he starts to walk again. He takes me to a side where a lot of rooms are situated. The guy knocks on the closed door of a room. Then we hear a voice from inside,"Come in!"

The guy opens the door and pushes me to go ahead. After entering the room unfortunately I see some familiar faces. Why didn't I think of this? I grit my teeth seeing them in front of me. And there's him, in the middle. Sasuke Uchiha.

"What are you doing here?" He asks me seeing me in the same room as him. I tell him trying to keep my cool,"I don't know but seems like coming here was a very big mistake." The guy from behind says,"I caught him sneaking around. So I took him here."

Sasuke says looking pissed,"Will you just catch anyone who's passing and take them here? Do you know what kind of trouble I'll have to face if they recognise me that I'm from the Uchiha family?" The guy looks scared now. I see the whole room. A lot of guys are sitting here, smoking and having drugs. There's Itachi too who's looking at me frowning.

I ask Sasuke,"You still are involved in things like this, aren't you?" Sasuke looks at my face and somehow his facial expression is cold now. Sasuke replies,"Yes. Why are you asking? Are you worried?" I tell him,"I'm not."

The guy who took me here looks surprised now to see me talking to Sasuke casually. Itachi says,"You really have nerves to come to places like this, don't you? Are you really eager to die?" I didn't dare to speak any word. Unthinkable things can happen here and there's no way the people from outside will know it. These people are capable of doing anything.

Sasuke says noticing me being kind of scared,"You are lucky that it's just us. What would happen if there was some other people who are dangerous for real? I ask him without thinking,"Am I not still in danger?" I see Sasuke's jaw clenching. He comes closer to me and says,"Are you scared of me?"

I ask him,"What answer will satisfy you?" Sasuke says,"Tell me that you love me. Can you do that?" The guy is still standing there awkwardly and I'm in a battle with myself inside my mind. Is Sasuke for real? He's stooping so low just to hear me saying that I love him.

Sasuke says noticing the guy,"Get out of here." The guy flinches hearing it and immediately leaves the room. Sasuke says to me,"Why are you silent now?" I tell him,"If I lie to you about my feelings, will it make you happy? Will you leave me for good?"

I see Sasuke flinching a little hearing what I just said. But soon his facial expression changes and a smirk appears on his lips. He says closing the gap,"No, it'll make me come after you more."

The people who are inside are looking at us. Sasuke says grabbing my wrist,"Let's go. This place isn't suitable for you." He starts to drag me with him. I ask him while I was following him,"Where are you taking me?" He replies,"To home."

He took me to his car and we both make our ways to our apartments. The car stops in front of the buildings and we both get out of the car. I turn my back after that and tell him,"I'll get going then. Thank you for the ride." Before I can start walking Sasuke grabs my arm making me stop.

I hear him talking,"I tried to ignore you and give you as much space as you need but I can't do it anymore. I can't stay away from you, Naruto." I turn my back to face him. I ask him,"Why are you doing this Sasuke? Don't you think I've suffered enough?"

Sasuke replies,"I am suffering too. We both are going through the same situation. So why not comfort each other? Why not try to be each others everything?" I tell him trying to hurt him more,"You are the reason I suffer."

I look at his face. He looks desperate and hurt. Then he suddenly smiles that doesn't reach his eyes. Sasuke says,"If I'm the one who cause your sufferings, I'm afraid that you'll have to suffer more than you think." I ask him,"Why are you doing this Sasuke. It's just not a game anymore." Sasuke replies,"I'm sorry Naruto. I just realized that I love you too much."
