Naruto's POV

It's been a few days, Sasuke hasn't make any efforts to talk with me. He sat with me and was close to me every time but he didn't start any conversation with me. It's like he's walking around me but can't see me. It's a good thing for me. I don't want him to meddle in my life.

Sasuke always had a bad temper. In my old school I've seen him loosing control, beating people to death. He used to beat people just because Sakura used nag into his ears saying this and that. Sakura was like the queen of my old school and used to hang around Sasuke. They were like those typical popular boys and girl who used to be in a relationship. That may sound cliche.

I don't know if Sakura used to hate me or not. I used to see her giving me glare and sometimes rolling her eyes at me. But I never saw her coming to me or saying any bad words to me. The whole school used to ignore me like a plague. Only I could hang out with Sasuke but that  only used to be possible if he felt like it.

He could come to me telling me that he wants to go out with me. He could also abandon me for his other friends and Sakura whenever he liked. Understanding Sasuke is the one thing I couldn't do, I still can't. But the love I felt for him is the only reason that I used to endure everything in the past. But things has changed, I'm not the same person as before.

"Look, how she's clinging onto him." Sai says to pointing to Ino and Sasuke. Into is the most popular girl in this school. Looks like Sasuke works like a magnet for popular girls. I ask Sai,"Wasn't she interested in you?" Sai says chuckling,"Yeah,She was indeed interested in me when I was the most popular guy before but that jerk took that place. It didn't take long time, right?" Looks like Sai doesn't really care about all that.

Blond long hair, big boobs, slim waist Ino has everything, everything Sasuke likes. From my old school, Sakura was pretty too. But Sasuke could definitely date Ino. She looks just like a model from a magazine.

Sasuke used to tell me that he likes blond hair. Hearing that I felt good that I have blond hair too, something he likes but it was late for me to realise that, that compliment wasn't for me. But now seeing Sasuke, he looks totally uninterested toward Ino who's really trying fit into their group. I don't know what type of girl she is. I hope she isn't like Sakura.

Sai says,"Hey, wanna grab something to eat?" I turn to see his face. He still has that stupid grin on his face. It would become hell for me if he wasn't with me. Guys like Sai are pretty rare who looks for a pure friendship. For some reason I felt comfortable around him and that's why I made him my friend apart from the only person who used to be my friend, Sasuke.

I nod and tell him,"Yeah, let's head for the cafeteria." We both left our classroom. I saw him staring at me when I was leaving with Sai. He can do everything but I hope he won't approach me or bother me anymore. It feels annoying.

Sai asks me while he pushes the bowl of ramen in front of me,"Naruto, Why does Sasuke acts like that around you? He looks totally obsessed." I was expecting from him to ask me that question. I lie to him,"I don't know. Maybe he doesn't like me." Sai says,"It doesn't look like that. Seems like you are also hiding something."

I stopped chewing my food after hearing that. Of course he isn't someone stupid to ignore everything happening with Sasuke and me. I tell him,"It isn't something important Sai. It's better for you to not to listen." Sai says chuckling," It's not like hearing it will put my life in danger."

I stare at him and tell him keeping my poker face,"What if it really puts your life in danger?" Sai stops laughing and looks at me. I did manage to scare him off after all. I tell him waving it off,"Don't worry, I'm just kidding." Sai says with a serious facial expression,"Then tell me about it if it doesn't put my life in danger." I look at him. Sai acts so stubborn sometimes. I tell him,"I'll tell you some other time." Sai says,"You better tell me soon."
