The last month - Karlnap

May 14-Coming out

Karl POV:

I have been awake all night just thinking. My parents wants Sapnap over?! I have to tell them about him. I know that. It's my last month so that is the only right thing to do, even if I will be kicked out from the house.

"Karl get your ass down here and make some breakfast!" My dad shout loud.

"Coming dad! I'm just going to send a message to my b- my friend!" I yell back, close to spoil the truth about me and Sapnap already.

I text a fast message to him before going down and help my dad with the breakfast:

'Sappyy nappyy ma boi ;)'

'Hey! My parents wants you over today to the dinner! Can you make it? They are very special... Play along with it! And also you are my FRIEND, okay?'

'Yeah of course! See you later :)'

I start roast some toast and fill some glass with orange juice.

"Sapnap is coming to dinner." I just say quite to my dad who sit next to the kitchen table and read a magazine.

He just hum as a answer with his thoughts deep down in the magazine.

When I'm done with the breakfast I serve it to my mom and sister in the living room. They are watching 'Task master'. (if you are British then you know that show! I love it hahhaha!)

"So your little 'friend' is coming over, huh?"

For once my mom doesn't sound mean or angry. I know she doesn't sound mean but I she didn't mean to sound 'nice' to me.

I nod carefully and walk upstairs to my room instead. I pick out a simple outfit from my wardrobe. A pair of skater jeans and one of Sapnaps hoodie he has forgotten here. (Urgh the grammar sucks BAHAHAHAHH) It's black with a flame on the front. Even if I have washed it I can almost smell him in it.

~~ Timeskip - dinner with Sapnap o•o ~~

It knocks on the door and I run out from the kitchen to open. It must be Sapnap.

All evening I have spend in the kitchen to cook some food. I made chicken with rice and a sauce til.

As waited, Sapnap stand on the other side of the door when I'm open it. I wanna kiss him so bad, but I can't right now so I just hug him. My parents can't find out right now. A long warm hug. I think Sapnap can feel I need comfort. I don't know how tho because the hug feel as great as always. I whisper in his ear before we pull back again:

"Remember, friends..."

He nod small and we walk in. The rest of my family sit beside the kitchen table with an extra chair for Sapnap on the corner.

My dad just nick his head at my 'friend' and my sister just give him a 'bitch-look'. My mom say short and cold hi.

"Well this is Sapnap! You can sit down here if you want." I say and gesture the chair to him.

"Thank you, hello everyone." He nod and sit down.

I start place the food on the table and sit down.

"So... Why did you choose this failure to be friend with?" My dad ask.

He say it like a police force out answers from a wanted serie killer. Sapnap just look questioning.

"Well... I just started at his school and met him at the lunch and we talked and he seemed nice so, I wanted to be his friend I guess..." He explain slowly to not spoil any 'secret' information.

"Dad... I'm not a failure..." I mumble quite but my dad seems to net hear.

It was an odd dinner. My dad kept ask weird questions that should prove his theory about us being a couple. All the time he sneak in things about how bad and useless I am and how good and perfect my sister is.

When we are done with the food I start dish it and Sapnap help me. My parents went out to the living room and to watch some shit on the tv.

"That was an... Interesting? Dinner." Sapnap whisper and giggle quite.

I giggle too.

He doesn't mention anything about they being mean to me which I appreciate. I know he except me too explain but he doesn't push me to it. I will tell him about why and when they came home, eventually.

After a little silence I say to Sapnap with a serious face expression:

"We have to tell them, come with me. About us."

"Live your last month Karl!"

For the first time does my thoughts say something useful and nice to me.

We sneak out in the living room and my parents glaze us with judging eyes.

"You ready?" I whisper and look Sapnap deep in the eyes.

His face turns surprised and a little worried.

"For what?"

I sigh and mumble with a small smile on my lips. The adrenaline start rush through my body.

"To run."

I kiss him. It is a nice but short kiss. We start run. Run out from the house. I take the shoes in my hand and we run in just socks out on the street.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!!! YOU WILL REGRET THIS!" I hear my dad scream after me with and mad voice.

He stand in the front door with a fist up in the air. It looks like his about to kill someone.

The adrenaline mixed with some type of happiness makes me giggle and smile. Sapnap to.

He take my hand and we continue run the rest of the way home to him.

I don't know what to do now but I know I won't go back to my house. In some kind of way do I like the feeling of step in to this, I don't know what.

The feeling of step in to a unknown.
