Chapter 4

DREW.

After my meeting with Ace, I decided to kick it with Rio since I don't have anything better to do and I wanted to see my little nigga too. When I got there Rico was outside with Darcy while she was on the phone.
"Umm... What time are you thinking about... Yea, yea I just got to go before these boys tear up my house...Love you too." I heard her say over the phone. When she was done, she stared at me with daggers.
"Rico baby go inside the house." He looked at me then did as instructed.
"Hey Darc."
"Why the hell are you here."
"I came to see my nephew and my brother."
"No I mean why did you come here at all! Do us all a favor and go back to wherever you were at. Nobody wants you here." I was going to respond until Rio came.
"Hey nigga." He said dapping me up. She rolled her eyes and went inside the house.
"What's up with ya girl?"
"Nothing man. She still mad at you for leaving her bestfriend that's all." We went inside the house and discussed business and what happened at the meeting while I was there.

DESTINY.

I continued what I was doing and made breakfast. After everything was finished I went into my room to go wake Simone up.
"Wake up baby breakfast is ready." She slowly opened her eyes and got out of bed. As she got ready I put the food on the plates.
"Mommy you made my favorite!" She screamed. I swear she is so dramatic.
"Yes I did. Now come here and eat it." I pulled out both our chairs and we began to eat.
"What do you want to do today?" I asked taking a sip of apple juice.
"Can we visit Rico and auntie Darcy?"
"Sure, let me call her first and see if that is ok."
"Yay!" She ran upstairs to get ready to leave. I decided to take this opportunity to call Darcy.
"Hey bitch" She said through the phone.
"Hey girl!"
"What's up? I missed you and my niece."
"We miss you too we were actually going to stop by in a little bit." She took a long pause.
"Umm... What time are you thinking about?"
"Maybe around two." I said looking at the clock, seeing it was 12:45.
"Yea, that sounds cool. I should have the house to myself then."
"Girl are you ok? You seem a little off." I asked seriously concerned.
"Yea, yea I just got to go before these boys tear up my house."
"Ok, love you sissy."
"Love you too." She said rushing off the phone. After our conversation Simone came done the stairs in a pair of skinny jeans, a blue polo button up and black and blue Nike.
"Mommy can you do my hair please?"
"Ok sweetie, just let me get ready. Just go watch tv." She followed my instructions and turned the tv on to Disney Channel. I went into my bedroom and laid out my clothes. I picked out a simple black sundress with red Gucci sandals and added red jewelry to complete the outfit. Once I was done I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth while waiting for the shower to get hot. I stepped into the shower for about thirty minutes then got out and lathered my body with lotion. I headed back into my bedroom and got myself dress. I decided to leave my hair alone since we were running low on time.
"Pooh come in here so I can do your hair." I yelled, while gathering the things I needed. I soon heard her running towards the door. She sat at my vanity mirror waiting for me to start.
"How do you want your hair today?"
"Can I wear it like you?" She asked staring up at me.
"Sure, but is it ok if I pull some of it back? I don't want to hide your pretty face." I said touching her nose.
"Ok." She said giggling. After I was done with her hair we got in the car headed to Darcy's house. On the way there I couldn't shake this feeling that something was up but, whatever it was I prayed it would go away. I pulled up into her driveway and saw a car that I haven't seen before. I rung the doorbell and waited for her to open the door. Seconds later Rico opened the door with Darcy right behind him.
"Simi!" Rico yelled while grabbing Simone's hand and running off somewhere in the house.
"Hey sissy." I said giving Darcy a hug.
"Hey boo." She said giving me a one handed hug. I stared at her for a little bit but, couldn't read the expression on her face.
"What's wro-." I started before I heard Simone scream. I ran into the living room to see some man on the couch hugging her. I grabbed the gun out my purse that I always carry with me for protection.
"You have two seconds to get your hands off her." I said cocking my gun.
"Yo Des chill out." Rio yelled.
"Nah some random nigga is touching my child. You know I don't play that disrespectful shit."
"It's ok." The man chuckled.
The man slowly released her and stood up facing me. I slowly felt my heart rate start to speed up and my blood begin to boil. Simone ran over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist.
"Mommy who is that?" I bent down so that I was at eye level with her.
"Simone... This your father."
