"Is it bad that I never made love? No I never did but I sure know how to,"
"Well I guess I'm going to have to change that." Drew said making me jump. I was in the middle of cleaning the house. I took out my earbuds then slapped his chest.
"Don't do that." I pouted.
"My bad babe." He pecked my cheek. He went over to the fridge grabbing some to make a sandwich. As he was making a sandwich he got some mustard on the counter.
"Dude." I smacked my lips.
"I'll clean it." He licked the mustard up.
"Your so trifling." I grabbed the towel, wiping up the mess. He shrugged his shoulders and continued making his sandwich.
"Want a napkin?" He nodded his head. I grabbed him a bottle of water then a napkin.
"Thanks."
"If you make a mess your cleaning it. I'm going to go shower." I kissed his cheek then ran upstairs. I went to Simone's room to see her watching cartoons. After making she was situated, I went into the bathroom. I turned my phone onto pandora. When the shower was hot enough I hopped in letting the steam hit my body. I heard the shower curtain pull back.
"Drew get out."
"Why? I'm not doing anything but taking a shower." He grabbed the shower gel from my hands.
"Why not wait till I'm done?"
"Nah I'm cool."
"Then I'll get out." I reached for the towel but he smacked my hand.
"Just stay. There's no use in wasting water."
"Fine." I sighed "But if you try anything I swear."
"Shut up I know you'll like it." He said as he smacked my butt.
"Drew." I warned. The whole time he kept his promise there was no funny business, for the most part.
I went to my overnight bag grabbing the clothes out. I slipped on a maroon long sleeve crop top shirt and a white mini skirt with a gold belt. I also got my wand and makeup kit and laid it on the counter. I split my hair into four sections then began wanding it. After I was finished I put spritz in it so it wouldn't be frizzy. I laid out my makeup and began applying it when I heard little feet running against the tile.
"Mommy you look so pretty."
"Thank you baby." I cooed as I picked her up placing her on the other side of the counter.
"Can I try this?" She picked up my clear lip gloss with glitter in it. I nodded my head and opened the bottle putting it on her lips.
"Rub your lips together." She did as told then clapped her hands together when she saw her reflection.
"Now I look beautiful just like you."
"No baby. Your more beautiful even without make up." I kissed her cheek.
"I love you."
"I love you most." I grabbed my tube of red lipstick then put some on.
"Where's your dad?"
"Theater." I placed her on the ground. She hopped on the bed watching me as I gathered my things to get ready for this date.
"Mommy can I ask you a question?"
"Sure."
"Why can't we stay here? I like it here and you do too." I sat on the bed with her. I placed both of her hands in mine.
"This isn't our home. I do like being here with you and your dad but, we can't stay. You're too young to understand now but, I promise I'll explain it to you when you get a little older."
"Ok, I just wish this was our home. That way we can be together."
"I know." She crawled into my chest, snuggling up to me. I held her arms as she cried.
Drew came in moments later with Gatorade in his hand.
"What you do to my baby nigga?" He bucked at me.
"She's just a little sad." He picked her up then sat on the bed.
"Tell daddy what's wrong."
"I want you and mommy together so we can stay here."
"I want the same thing but it's all up to your mom. You can stay as long as you want though." She nodded her head. "Go pick out a movie so we can watch it."
"Ok." She ran out the room leaving the two of us.
"Thank you for talking to her."
"She's my daughter, stop thanking me."
"I know but still. I appreciate it."
"I think you should consider moving here."
"We talked about this, we are taking things slow. Plus we have only been talking again for a couple days. It wouldn't make since for me to just pick up my life and move in."
"When have we ever made since? We literally lived together since you were sixteen."
"But do you remember the circumstances?"
"My point is that I love you. I know you love me too, let's do this. I'm ready."
"I'm not." I got up from the bed and put on my heels. "I got to go." Walking out the house I called Shawn letting him know I was on the way.
