"Sometimes our biggest cries for help are silent."
DREW.
I went upstairs to my office and locked the door behind me. I sat at my desk thinking about everything. Everybody seems to think that I need help and maybe they're right. Nah, fuck that they have the problem I don't. I just need to get back on everyone's good graces. Especially Destiny's. Even though she did that disrespectful shit, I still love her and I know we can get passed it. It's just something we have to go through to be even stronger. If not I know I got Milla. She can front all she wants but, I know I can have her eating out the palm of my hand. Everything just takes timing. I grabbed the small dime bag that was filled with cocaine. I don't use it often it's just something to help me escape reality for a while. I put it on the table. I took a razor and chopped it up. I fished out a bill that I had then put it to my nose letting the substance take over. I took two more sniffs then sat back enjoying my high. There was knock on my door. I closed my eyes trying to block everything out. The knocks continued to get louder and louder.
"Daddy." Simone knocked on the door. "Daddy!" She knocked on the door again.
"Fuck." I picked up a lamp and threw it at the wall. I opened the door and saw her face with tears streaking down her face. "Why are you crying babe?"
"Someone is at the door."
"Go to your room." She nodded her head. I grabbed my gun and stuffed it in my back of my waistband. I went to the door opening it to see Camilla and Dre standing there. "Hey son." I said kissing the top of his head.
"Hey dad."
"Your sister is upstairs in her room go say hi." He nodded his head following my instructions.
"Alright here are his bag." Milla said handing me a nike duffle bag.
"Thanks." I took the bag from her and sat it on the ground.
"I'll be back to pick him up Sunday." I covered my face with my hand as I felt my high take over. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." I snapped.
"Whatever goodbye." She walked down the pathway getting to her car. I slammed the door behind her then sat on the couch. The effects started kick in when I felt a surge of energy peak through. I picked up my phone calling Rio about some information on the kid Ace. If he wants to play dirty then I can take it there.
"Speak." He said into the phone.
"Did you get any information on the nigga yet?"
"Nah not yet but, I'm going to ask around the streets and ask B if he know anything."
"While you doing that I to set a hit up on the niggas trap and take all his shit."
"Aite I got you. When you talking?"
"Tonight let me drop the kids off at my mama's and we can roll."
"Ok, I'll meet you at the trap at nine." He hung up the phone. "Dre, Simi come here." They both came downstairs standing on the bottom step. "I need to go somewhere so you are spending time with your grandma."
"Yay!" Simone ran upstairs readily packing her bags.
"What's wrong boy?"
"I don't know her."
"It's fine she's gonna love you. I promise." Simone came down with her suitcase and we walked to my Hummer. The whole ride it was Simone talking everyone's head off about how much fun they were going to have together. I got to my parents' house and opened the door with my key. My mom peeped around the corner.
"Hey son, I wasn't expecting you."
"I know I should have called earlier. Shit came up and I need you to watch them." She looked down at the two of them.
"You know I'm going to watch over my grandbabies. Hey sweetie I'm your grandma Angela but, you can call me GG."
"I'm Andrew." He reached out his hand for her to shake.
"Come on let's get the two of you situated. You like corndogs and curly fries?" He nodded his head. "Well you never had them like I make them." They left out the room.
"Thanks ma, I'll call you later."
"Whatever boy." I heard her yell. I walked out and sped over to the trap house. I walked in and gave everyone dap. I sat at the head of table as I waited for the rest of my goons to come in. Rio was the last person to come in as he took a seat beside me.
"Listen there is a nigga that has been trying to take over my turf and you know I ain't having that shit. I need ya'll niggas to go raid his place and bring me all his shit. Anything that has value to it. I want it and if you got to hurt somebody to do it go ahead."
"When are we doing this?" One of my new recruits asked.
"Tonight. One more thing before you leave the first person to get any valuable information on Ace gets a fifty thousand dollar bonus. Now get the fuck out." They all left except Rio. I took out my bag taking a sniff out of it.
"Nigga you sniffing that shit. You need to stop forreal bro you going to fuck up yo life behind that." He tried to reach for the bag.
"Did I ask you for your opinion nigga? When I want it I'll let you know."
"It's like that now bro." He asked getting in my face. I stood up getting in his face.
"Yeah it's like that my nigga. Now go do what I pay you to do."
"Nigga you feeling some type away because we scrap right now."
"We all know you ain't about that life. Don't forget who pays yo checks." I felt a hand connect to my face. We started going at it knocking everything over in sight. Although I'm strong I must admit he got a few good punches into. It wasn't long before the crew came to break us up. He spit up some blood and it landed on me.
"Nigga get off me. He shrugged them off. He walked out the room.
"What the fuck yall still here for." I barked. I threw a chair at the wall. I went to my office and grabbed a swisher to calm my nerves.
