SHAWN.

I really can't with the back forth with her. I love Destiny, I want her to be wifey some day and carry my seeds but, I can't love someone who doesn't love themselves. I hate the fact that she keep comparing me to that bitch ass nigga. I can't wait till she finally decides what she wants. She's right about Simone though I haven't been the best father figure to her and I'm gonna step up for mine. I love that little girl like she my daughter. I'm really starting to miss little bit. I sat in this club sippin' on some roc.

"Hey sexy." I looked up from my cup and saw this fine ass girl with the tightest red dress. Ma was bad and she knew it. I nodded my head. "May I sit?"

"Sure." She sat down in the barstool next to me. She crossed her leg exposing her bare thigh. The bartender walked over to us.

"Can I get a dirty martini and make it filthy." He nodded his head then went back to looking at me. "So tell me why a sexy man like yourself is here by themselves?"

"With all due respect love I'm taken."

"Babe I'm not looking for a relationship, trust. I'm just making conversation." She took the glass and took a sip from it. I don't know why but, I felt like I needed to vent.

"Me and my girl got into." I said throwing the last bit of my drink back.

"Awe I get it. Trouble in paradise with wifey."

"Yeah something like that."
"Well..."

"Shawn."

"Well Shawn my advice would be if you care about ole girl make it work. If not then go you find a new future, like that brunette in the corner that has been eye raping you for a while." I looked over to where she was talking about. "Now she's personally isn't my type but, she has potential." I laughed at how bold she was.

"I don't believe I caught your name."

"That's because I never threw it little daddy."

"What is it?"

"Ambrielle but, you can call me Bri."

"I like you Bri you funny as shit."

"I'm feeling you too. You chill as hell." We ended up talking about random shit until it the club closed. Talking to her was like kicking it with one of the boys. She like an older sister I never had and a good wing man. We walked out together. Since it is still dark out I decided to walk her to her car. She unlocked the door and I opened it up for her.

"Well aren't you a gentlemen."

"Whatever Bri. I'll catch up with you soon."

"Alright boo I hope you and wifey work it out. Remember just put in some of that work and she'll be alright." I laughed at her childishness as she drove off. I walked to my car and got in. I looked at my phone seeing it was four in the morning. I decided to pick up some McDonald's. I grabbed my food and ate as I headed back to the house. Once I got in I saw her spiraled out on the couch. I sat the bag of food down. I went over to her then picked her up. I carried her to my room laying her in the bed. I tucked her in then was about to leave until she grabbed my hand.

"Shawn I don't care who you were with last night. I just want you to be happy and know that I love you more than anything." She slurred her words. It had been apparent that she had been drinking. I kissed her forehead before exiting the room.

DESTINY

I woke up the next morning feeling the need to vomit. I ran to the bathroom emptying my stomach. I flushed the toilet then sat on the floor. I wiped my face trying to stop the constant tears that flowed from face. I thought about the future of being a single mother with one kid and another on the way. In a perfect world I thought the father of my children would be by the same man and we would be married. I really need to get my life together. I created this empire for myself that was thriving until I was reunited with an old flame and a new beginning. Both equally flawed but, have exposed me to something new. Shawn was right about me. I do push away people I care about but, my insecurities stem from my past. I've never been in more relationships than one and even the man every girl looks up to hurt me.
