DREW.
I woke up the next morning with a major headache. As I was getting up there was a small hand wrapped around my waist. I looked over to see a girl that I didn't know sprawled out. I lifted her arm up then started putting my clothes on. I sat on the edge of the bed putting on shoes. I felt a pair of hands rub against my chest.
"Baby why are you leaving so early?" She spoke.
"I got to go but, thanks for the sex." I stood up and walked out. When I got in the car I drove home. It looked like nobody has been here in days. I know I've been gone a while but, damn.
"Milla, Dre." I walked around the house looking for them. I went upstairs into the guestroom to see if Dre was in the room but, it was empty. I repeated the same process for my room and Milla wasn't in there. I dialed her number.
"Hello." She answered in a groggy tone.
"Hey where you at?"
"We are fine Drew. I decided that it would be best to go home."
"I'm coming to get you."
"Please don't." I hung up the phone driving to her condo complex. I knocked on the door waiting for her to answer. The door slowly opened revealing her face.
"May I come in?"
"We are fine Drew go home." She tried to close the door but, I put my foot in between the space. I walked passed her sitting on the couch.
"Come here ma." She slowly made her way towards me then sat down next to me. "I want to apologize for my actions the past couple days. I know I wasn't there for when you needed me and I'm sorry."
"It's fine." I licked my lips looking over her body. She was wearing a sports bra and some sweats. Even though her outfit was basic she still managed to look good. I grabbed her hand intertwining it with mine.
"I've been thinking and I think that we should start a family like you wanted." She started laughing like what I said was the funniest thing in the world.
"Let's be realistic, you don't even pay attention to the child you have now, I wouldn't want to bring another into this fucked up situation. Plus how would Destiny feel about this?"
"I love Destiny and she knows that but, I want to see where this goes. I'm finally trying to give you what you want."
"All I ever wanted was you to be a father to our son. That's all I've ever asked you for. As for us you know that I love you. I can't deny that because you are the father of my son and honestly you are my first love,"
"Then why can't we?" She held her hand up.
"But I'm not in love with you and vice versa for you. I know that you are in love with my sister and I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with is being somebody's rebound. I'm here for you wherever you need me that will never change."
"You know you are very special right. I hope yo next nigga can see that." I told her honestly.
"Thank you and I wish nothing but the best for you." I kissed her cheek then got up from the couch. She walked over to the front with me.
"Bye Drew."
"Bye Milla." I grabbed her by her waist pulling her into a hug. I pulled away then kissed her lips softly. I pecked her lips twice then wiped the tear from her eye. "Why you crying ma?"
"I don't know it feels like we broke up or some shit." She laughed.
"Nah ma, you still my girl. We too close for us to end like this."
