JISOO's POV
"Are you excited Jisoo-yah?""Jeez I still can't believe it."
"Finally after two years, you're here with us now at the University." Seulgi chirped excitedly the moment she parked her car in front of the huge building.
Today's the first day of school here at the University and we can already see flock of students as they make their way inside the department building.
I turned at the woman besides me who's grinning from ear to ear and nods.
"Yeah Seul. I really can't believe it too." I answered truthfully with a sheepish smile.
"To be honest, I already accepted my fate of not pursuing College a long time ago."
"You know I could never afford it no matter how many jobs I take." I uttered releasing soft chuckles when Seulgi leaned closer and pinched my cheeks.
"Ouch! What was that for!?" I asked whining with my hand caressing my now reddened cheeks while Seul smiled wider.
"Well I'm just showing you that you really aren't dreaming now."
"It's real Jisoo-yah. You really are going to the University with us now." She said flashing her happiest smile. It's evident how happy Seul is, now that I'm going with her plus the fact that we're on the same department despite taking different programs.
She's on her third year as an Accounting student while I'm just a freshman, taking Business Administration. Jeongyeon on the other hand is an IT student.
"You know it doesn't feel the same with out you here Chu." Seul mumbled sincerely as she cast me a serious look.
"My first two years here at the University has been a struggle since I don't have you and Yeon here. It's hard adjusting with out you guys here."
"You know life is boring with out you two idiots here." She chuckled pertaining to their old life in high school that was full of adventures and misfits.
"God. How I missed the good old days." She sighed heavily making me smile at the woman besides me cause Seul was never the type of person to be emotional and vocal.
It was rare for her to show her true emotions.
And having heard all of her long kept sentiments now speak volumes at how important Yeon and I were, in her life.
"Well Yeon's department building isn't far from here." I uttered matter of factly.
"Yeah we always meet after class."
"Poor Yeon would always whine and rant at how boring all of her classmates were." Seul answered as we got out of her car and went inside our building.
"Well you know Yeon."
"Doing pranks and bets is what's keeping her sane all these years." I commented non -chalantly and Seul chortled hard cause it's true.
" Yeah you got a point there bud." She chuckled hard as we walk along the lobby. I suddenly felt unease when I noticed everyone's gaze on us like we were some kind of gossip to pry upon. Seulgi then sensed my growing anxieties and so she draped her arm aroud my shoulder and turned at everyone giving them all a dead stare. Everyone then looked away and continued with their own business which brought me an instant relief.
" I guess it's really hard to fight the inevitable." Seulgi mumbled releasing her toothy grin as she cast me a proud look.
"What are you talking about?" I ask clueless about her antics.
