JISOO's POV
"So.. Are you really taken, Chu?" This was the first thing that Soojoo asked me, the moment she finally got the chance to talk to me in private. They have just finished touring and exploring the entire resort that they decided to have their dinner first at the hotel's luxurious buffet restaurant before they head back to their villas.
"What? Sorry I didn't catch that?" I asked a little confused at her bizarre question. Soojoo then smirked at me and to my utter surprise, she slowly leaned closer and suddenly stripped something off my back while my gaze fell nervously at Jennie's direction, who at the moment was busy getting our food from the buffet table.
"This."
"It says that you're already taken."
"Is it true?" she asked teasingly while she hand me
the piece of paper that I didn't know was attached at my back. I took the paper and my face suddenly all turned red the moment I read Jennie's handwriting that says: This Pika-Chu is already taken. Do not catch.""So it's not really a mosquito repellant tape that she put in my back." I mumbled to myself and my lips can't help but flash a flustered smile. Soojoo then rolled her eyes at me and suddenly butts in.
"Your friends made fun of you with out you knowing about it and you still look so happy??" she commented with a raised eyebrow looking all confused but I just shrug at her and smiled still staring at the paper I was holding.
"Soojoo, my friends would never make fun of me, most especially Jennie."
" Besides you don't know her."
"She might look cold and unfriendly towards the people that she doesn't know but she's the sweetest and most caring person I know." I uttered with my eyes still fixed at the paper I was holding. I stared at it one last time and carefully fold it and put it in my wallet.
"Well it seems that she doesn't like me that much." Soojoo uttered as she cast a sad smile while she watches me put the paper in my wallet like it's the most treasured possession I got.
"She's not like that. Soojoo."
"Jennie isn't the type of person who would hate someone with out any reason. Don't think like that, it annoys me." I responded seriously which made her all stunned at my sudden change of mood.
I'm sorry. I guess I really have to know her well then before I make assumptions." she mumbled apologetically which softened my demeanor.
" I'm sorry. I guess I was a little harsh on you on that part." I apologized meekly but Soojoo just shook her head and smiled warmly at me.
"Don't be.."
"I was the one at fault here. I made your girlfriend a little uncomfortable. It's only natural for her to react that way." she answered and I instantly turned all red from what she just said. I saw Soojoo smirked and her eyes darted at me with utter amusement.
"What's with that flustered look Kim Jisoo?"
"So it's really true, then.."
"You really are already taken, and it's Jennie, right?" Soojoo shot the question teasingly. I stared at her for a moment and my eyes then shifted at Jennie from afar.
"No we aren't."
"But I guess my heart is...quite taken by her.." I whispered to myself but Soojoo must have heard what I just said cause her reaction was somewhat....stunned.
