THREE DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT
AUTHOR's POV
"Welcome to Café Streets. Oh Hi Miss Jennie! Are you alone today? What can I get for you?" the barista greeted with a big smile the moment she realized who the costumer was.
It was almost evening and the Café is already bustling with costumers mostly young professionals and office employees dining out before going home from long work.
"Hi.. Is Jisoo here?" Jennie politely greeted and asked the beaming staff.
"Oh..I regret to tell you Ma'am that Miss Jisoo already left just an hour ago. "
"But Miss Seulgi is here. Do you perhaps want me to call her instead?" the woman offered politely.
"That would be great Miss. Thank you. And I would like to order the usual." Jennie answered flashing her a grateful smile.
"Noted Miss Jen. I'll instruct one of our staffs to inform our boss that you're here. I'll guide you to the Cafe's private booth." the barista uttered and gestured her workmate to fill her post and ushered Jennie to her private spot.
"Hey. It's alright, I can settle on the table over there. There's really no need for that." she declined but the young staff just shook her head and politely insist.
"No Ma'am. It'll be a lot crowded here later since it's almost peak hours and we don't want you to get uncomfortable."
"How did you know that?" Jennie asked somewhat curious and impressed.
"Miss Jisoo once instructed us to accommodate you well if you ever visit here with out her."
"She gave us list of the things that you like and makes you comfortable so we can serve you well just in case she's not here." she narrated which stunned Jennie from where she stood. She knows how caring and thoughtful Jisoo is to her but never did she expect Jisoo to be in this level.
"She did that?" Jennie asked all flustered and she can see how the young staff nods at her and stifled a smile.
"Yes Miss. Even the littlest thing like the amount of cream in your coffee or how sweet it should be, how you like your toast done or what juice you prefer for your cake." she enumerated the lists and the feline can't help blush furiously by just hearing all of it.
"Oh..I'm sorry it must be a hassle for you guys." Jennie apologized sheepishly. Her face was all red but her rose-bud lips can't help but curled up and flash a heartfelt smile.
Oh..Not at all Ma'am. It's not a hassle at all. We really find it cute to be honest."
"I guess your girlfriend is just so in love with you Miss Jennie." she commented giddily and Jennie had never been so red.
"She said that?" Jennie asked, sounding like a flustered three year-old kid.
"Oh-I'm sorry Ma'am. Well Miss Jisoo is a very private person, but we all just assumed that you both are, since it's really obvious how much she cares for you. Besides, she never shuts up about you whenever she and our boss talk." the staff chuckled as she carefully pulled a chair for Jennie and offered her a seat the moment they arrived at the private booth.
"Your order will be served in a few moment Ma'am. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to ask. It's our pleasure to assist you here." the young staff bowed smiling before she return to her post."
"Thank you. It was nice sharing a conversation with you." Jennie replied back giving her a grateful smile. Moments later, Seulgi arrived at the private booth with her staff carrying her order.
