"The Bet"

AUTHOR's POV

"Damn. What took you so long to open the door?"

"We've been buzzin here for over 5 minutes now, Jeez I'm going to have cramps for standing outside that long." Jeongyeon whined stretching her legs as they walk inside Jisoo's villa while their friends trailed behind them.

"I'll go ahead at the pool." Soojoo uttered nonchalantly and everyone followed her.

She got so used to staying in the Villa that she intuitively walked past Jisoo without waiting for her response and head towards their bedroom since the only access to the villa's private pool is towards the main bedroom.

"Sorry. We uhhmmm.... I was uhm.....in the shower...that's why I didn't hear you guys rang the doorbell." Jisoo responded with a stutter while she tensely trailed behind them and looked nervously towards the bathroom. She sheepishly combed her still wet hair with her fingers and was about to say something when Irene suddenly spoke.

"Well it seems like you guys were quite busy here a while ago." Irene commented with her raised eyebrow while her gaze turned at the bathroom. You can hear the shower still running despite the lovely music playing from the record player.

"Chu, what's taking you so long? Is that Irene Unnie?" They suddenly heard Jennie's voice from the shower and all of their teasing gaze shifted at Jennie's direction and then to Jisoo who was standing awkwardly in front of them, with shampoo residues still visible in her hair.

"Oh...Did we interupt you guys on something?" Nayeon asked with a sly grin and you'll see Jeongyeon and Seulgi in their most proud state, giving their bestfriend a discreet thumbs up while Jisoo curse at them silently, wishing that the ground would just swallow her and take her away from this awkward situation.

"What are you guys doing here?" A soft but confused voice were suddenly heard and everyone turned at Jennie who was standing at the bathroom door wearing nothing but a white towel that draped tightly around her body and from the looks of it, she was just halfway from her shower since her face and her hair were still covered with shampoo bubbles.

Everyone can't help but ogle and gasped unconsciously at how effortlessly sexy Jennie is.

"Yah, guys, stop oggling at her." they suddenly heard Jisoo yelled with a warning look and stormed towards her just so she could cover her from their prying eyes, making the feline smile, looking all flustered and confused.

"What are you guys doing here?" Jennie repeated while she wipes out some soap residue near her eyes.

"Well we decided to hold the pool party here since Soojoo said that your villa has the largest pool here." Irene responded while she took a new set of robes in their closet and handed it to her cousin. Irene gave her cousin a sly smirk while she shifted her gaze at her and Jisoo before she smirks again.

"Just finish what you guys been doing and we'll party later."

"Seems like we interrupted you guys in the middle of something." She mumbled with a knowing look and all of their friends let out a fit of giggles except for Soojoo who was silently watching them from the back. Her eyes showing a little jealousy and desire.

"Hold on. What are you talking about?" Jisoo asked oblivious.

"Yah Kim Jisoo, just continue what you guys were doing in the shower so we could start with the pool party or do you want us to join you guys there?" Jeongyeon responded smirking and it was their turn to laugh again.
