Jensoo- Love Inevitably

"A Bestfriend's Plea"

"Feeling better now Jendeukie?" Jisoo whispered lovingly at her. Jennie never replied but instead, she tightened her arms and bury her face in Jisoo's neck hugging her like she was the source of her strength.

Jisoo instantly smiled at how clingy Jennie has always been at her.

"Jendeukie?" She sudenly heard Jen respond asking, pertaining to the name she just called her.

"Yeah that's what I'll call you from now on." Jisoo uttered grinning at her.

"What's with that name?" Jen asked curiously.

"Well it's a combination of your name and the word "jjindeuk" which means sticky and clingy."

"So yeah I'll call you Jen-Deuk from now on." She explained smirking which earned her a light pinch on her side from the angry kitten.

"Are you complaining that I'm clingy?" Jen asked a little annoyed.

"What? No. Who says I'm complaining? I like it when you're all clingy." Jisoo answered smiling at her and she can see how Jen's annoyed look instantly melted into a sweet smile that she tried to suppress but failed miserably.

Silence suddenly filled them when she heard Jennie said something again.

"Well I'm going to call you Pikachu from now on." she mumbled coyly while she buries her face in her chest and hugged her tight.

"Why Pikachu?" She asked chuckling at the weird name she just picked for her. She felt Jennie's hug tightened as she snuggles closer to her.

"Because I choose you."  she finally uttered and her world completely stopped.

She was completely smitten that it took her a moment to truly recover and her stunned face then melted into a heartfelt smile.

"What do you mean by that Jendeuk?" she mumbled flashing a sheepish smile but the latter didn't respond.

"Jendeukie.." Jisoo whispered softly as she carefully tilt and cups Jennie's chin only to find out the latter has already fallen asleep in her arms.

Jisoo can't help but smile just staring at the beauty in front of her.

Her heart melts as she watch at how peaceful and serene Jennie's face is, while she smiles and sleeps peacefully like there was no safer place on earth to sleep with but in her arms. She held the sleeping girl closer to her and kissed her in her cheeks and finally went to sleep.

It was past Three in the morning and Jennie's constant stirring in her bed suddenly snapped Jisoo out from her sleep. She was about to wake her up when she noticed her shivering and trembling from cold despite the thick blanket and jacket she's wearing.

A sudden panic flashed across her face when she cupped Jen's face and found out that she is burning up with high fever. Her lips and her cheeks were all flustered red while she coughed hard and her shivering grew more persistent until it never stopped. Jisoo hurriedly went towards the kitchen to get a glass of water and her medicine kit.

She gently woke Jennie up who was freezing despite the thick blanket wrapped around her.

"Hey, you need to take this Jendeuk." Jisoo mumbled softly as she hand the still trembling girl a glass of water and some medicine. She then took a patch of cooling pad and gently placed it in Jen's forehead, making the latter to shiver more..

"It's so cold Chu." Jennie whispered still trembling while she reaches for her, seeking for warmth. Jisoo instantly understood what she needs and so she scooted closer to her and wrapped themselves inside the blanket but the shivering didn't stop and her worries grew more.
