A WEEK AFTER NEW YEAR
JISOO's POV
"So what happened with you and Jen the other night?" I heard Seulgi whispered in a not so innocent tone which snapped me to attention and I intuitively halted myself from operating the huge espresso machine.
I sighed exasperatedly and shut my eyes for a moment cause seriously, this girl has been pestering me the entire day since the moment I got here at the Café this morning.
"Seul, for the hundredth time, nothing happened. I really have no idea what the hell are you talking about." I replied with a soft groan but Seulgi being a total tease that she is, just continued with her agenda.
"Well you two sneaked off in the middle of your birthday party and never returned."
"So tell me, what happened and where did you guys go?" Seulgi pressed another question with both of her eyebrows wiggling.
"Seul, Jen just brought me to this private ice skating rink."
"She said it's one of her birthday gift for me since I often told her that I love skating and snow boarding." I answered in all honesty but the other girl still doesn't look so convinced and so I was left with no choice but to show her our photos that we took from my phone. Seulgi scanned them all and a teasing smile suddenly crept across her tight lips.
"So what gift did you get from Jen aside from this?" she asked grinning.
"Well she made this beautiful sweater and scarf for me." I uttered proudly as I show her Jen's beautiful creation."
"She said that I always wear my fave red hoodie only on special ocassions and so she made something that I could wear on normal days." I continued with a sheepish smile.
"Damn. I never imagine Jen-Jen to be this dead-whipped at you, Chu." I heard Seulgi commented making me all flustered and confused at the same time.
"What do you mean by that Seul?" I asked.
"Chu, she's Jennie Kim for fuck's sake."
"She could just buy you anything expensive, hell I bet she can buy the entire mall for you but no, she chose to make something special for you."
"Don't you know that she's been knitting that sweater night and day for two months now? I'm cetain about it cause I always hear Irene teasing her about it."
"She even called her Grandma Jen."
"Jeez. You got yourself a keeper there Bud. You lucky son of a bitch." Seulgi commented, lightly hitting my arm and I can't help but flash that stupid smile.
"So..back to the ice skating rink." Seulgi brought the topic again and I can hear a hint of tease in her tone.
"Did Jennie put another mistletoe there again?" Seulgi asked teasingly and my face instantly blushed in bright red, causing the other girl to laugh furiously at my unguarded reaction.
"Oh fuck! She did it again didn't she?" Seulgi shrieked quite amused and I instinctively covered her big mouth from shouting stupid things again.
"Yah Kang Seulgi! Don't accuse her of doing such things like that."
"Actually it was...." I suddenly paused the moment I realized that made a huge mistake and I can see Seulgi now flashing that devious grin. Stupid idiot easily got what I'm about to say.
"Actually what, Kim Jisoo?" Seul repeated asking with a knowing smirk.
"Actually....uhhmmm.. it wasn't her."
