Emily's P.O.V -
My eyes fluttered open and I saw blurred figures all around me . They rushed around me as I blinked my eyes open . Everything was so far away . White glows surrounded me as people ran around me and rushed with things in their hands
I saw people sitting in chairs beside me as they stirred and sat upright when I lifted my head up off the pillow . They went to touch my hand as I felt their soft touch on the tips of my fingers . Their warm palm stroked mine as I felt another hand connect with my other hand.
But I couldn't move . What was happening to me . It was like i was slowly being paralysed . I heard crying next to me as my eyes squinted . It sounded like a girl as the cords on my heart strung and I felt water on my cheek . A boy cuddled into the girl as small sobs escaped his mouth . I heard a small cry from somewhere in the room as next to the big hand I felt tiny fingertips stretch and touch my hand
I breathed as a shaky breath was heard in my lungs and throat . I felt consciousness returning to me as the blurring became in focus . Doctors rushed to me as I heard beeping rapidly beside me , I started to drift in and out of consciousness as my eyes grew weary
I felt something prick me as I fell back , deeper into sleep . The small hand touched me for one last time ......
