Chapter 33 - In The Middle Of The Night

James P.O.V -

The girls meeting us on stage was a very big surprise and when Kiran jumped on my back it was like realisation hit me and I understood what the fans were saying . I couldn't believe we were all here together and I was with Kiran. She hasn't changed a bit , and I still loved her just as much. Maybe more . They do say the longer you are apart from someone the more you love them and that's exactly true. The way her glossy black hair swung as she walked and the way she flicked it out her face when it was windy . It was magical

But when we stepped into that hotel that we were staying in I knew this was magical. It was a fairy tale. She was my princess and I was her prince. Once joe and dean had told us our rooms we headed for the red ballroom stairs. Con and em had taken the lift as they were carrying all the luggage and suitcases, brad and aisha were still talking to joe and dean and Laura and tris were going to have a look around the hotel and see if they can find any leaflets for anything we can do for the days we had off.

We didn't really trust tris on his own as he would always choose something like a theme park or roller coasters when he clearly knew that me and brad hated them. However if we sent him with Laura he would not come back with so many maybe one leaflet about roller coasters but the rest would probably be normal . Least we knew it wouldn't be shopping mall leaflets as it would be if em and Kiran went . Laura hated shopping .

We found our room and met up with all the boys at the doors 114,115,116 and 117 were our rooms. I got our room keys out of my pocket and unlocked the door . Em had given us our luggage and Kiran rolled our suitcases into the room. I was just about to shut the door when three faces appeared round from the other rooms. I poked my head around the corner to find con , tris and brad talking round the door frames to one another .

" we've got it good tonight con" tris joked as Laura appeared and slapped his arm playfully

" oh yes well be in there tonight " brad laughed as aisha messed up his hair playfully and brad fixed it while shutting the door . Well that was them off

" well I know my plans for the night " con shouted as Emily came out and piggy backed him again , messed his hair up and the door swung shut

I turned round to tris as he commented " well I'm off I've got my exercise to attend to" tris joked again as his head disappeared and the corridor was empty. I turned round into mine and Kiran's room to find her on the phone. She lay on the bed as she twirled the cord around her finger . That's probably why the girls didn't make much of an appearance round the doors. While we were talking round the doors they were on the phones talking. Typical.

" no em you have to do that" Kiran joked as I knelt on the bed and lay next to her. I started to tug at the phone cord and she looked up from her fingers and saw me .

" no Laura we should definitely go there" she said. Could I ever get her off the phone it was like a full blown girl conversation over the phone .

I pulled the cord again and made puppy dog eyes hoping shed notice that I wanted her all to myself. She mouthed " one minute " and said bye to the girls then put the phone back on the wall . She turned round to me and said

" we were just talking about what we were going to do tomorrow"

" they didn't pick up any roller coaster leaflets did they" I said this was tris here and he could sneak anything

" no it was more like spas and swimming pools or going up the statue if liberty " she replied as I crawled up onto the bed with her and she rested her head on my chest . I. played with her hair as I could see she was tired from the long day and the girls didn't sleep on the tour bus.

As we lay there in silence I saw her eyes get heavy and she started to flutter them but still trying not to close her eyes . I looked down to Kiran and she smiled

" go to sleep " i whispered as she closed her eyes and i played with her hair.

" I love you Kiran " i whispered as I heard her fall to sleep and I saw her chest rise up and down as I felt her heart beat slow down .

" ring - ring- ring - ring- ring - ring- ring - ring- "

" James , James ! " someone shook me from the other side if the bed as they put the light on and the room was illuminated . I turned round to see a sleepy Kiran rubbing her eyes and yawning . I looked at the clock know the wall

3AM

Who the hell would want to ring me at 3 am in the morning. If this is one of the boys playing tricks in the middle of the night

" sorry" I whispered to Kiran as I looked around the room for my phone as it was still ringing

"ring - ring- ring - ring- ring - ring- ring - ring- ring - ring- "

I finally found it on the table by an armchair and looked for the caller ID. It was Connors mum . I think con told her about time differences but why was she calling me . I pressed answer and waited for it to connect

Kiran's P.O.V -

It was 3 am in the morning and James phone was ringing so loud it could have been mistaken for the fire alarm. He searched around the room looking for it until he found it in the table next to the chair. He looked weirdly at it for a second. Like he was trying to work out why they were calling .

I was really tired from yesterday and I knew he was too . What was so important that they couldn't wait until the morning. Unless it was family but then they would surely know about time differences. Lots of thoughts started buzzing round my head . And they weren't good .

I watched James face go from concerned to worried to shocked to angry. So many emotions at once . I don't think I can bear to know what's happened and why they were calling at this time . He pressed end on his phone and collapsed on the bed

" what's wrong " I whispered I was really worried and I wanted to know what has happened

" it's our apartment " he stuttered

"we've been burgled"
