Chapter 47 - You Can't Make Me Do This

Emily's P.O.V -

" l never want to see you again " . His eyes looked dull and heartbroken as he said those words

He slowly slipped his hand out of mine as I watched him being wheeled down the empty corridor . I didn't run and i didn't scream . my body went into shut down . All that could be heard was the squelching of the shoes and the wheeling of the bed . I stood as he was wheeled through some double doors , then gone . Forever. Those words sunk hard as I processed what he said

" I never want to see you again " I don't understand what have I done wrong.

I slid my heels off as tears ran down my face like a waterfall . I lent against the wall and slid down it . My head was clouded with so many un answered questioned and they just kept spinning around and around . I started to shake as more tears fell violently down my face . I brought my knees up to my face as I cried into my hands . What was happening with my life

The person I love the most has gone . They don't want me anymore . And I don't know why

He doesn't love me

Kiran's P.O.V -

We sat in the reception still waiting for the conformation on Connor , Emily had rushed in there a while ago and she hadn't come back . James came back from outside and I guessed josh had gone . I don't even know why they had a fight but josh was a lot bigger than Connor so josh got off lightly whereas Connor had a lot of injuries

It was mentally painful siting waiting for news that you know is going to be bad . James came as sat next to me as I leaned forward on my knees and rested my head on my hands. This was meant to be a good night out and look what it's turned into . I looked up as I saw everyone's faces . They were sad and hurt . But Laura's was just confused . Mine was as well . The boys knew something we didn't

James started rubbing my back in circles as I tried to work out what was going on . Maybe Emily knew something . She had been gone for a long time and something might of happened to her . I was starting to get worried . Blank faces circles me as I decided to go look for her and try and see what was happening

" guys I'm going to find Emily and see if she's alright " I said as I looked around the reception for a look of acknowledgement . Tris was looking round the room daydreaming , aimlessly . He snapped out of it and gave me a look . He gave me a slight nod as I heard a scoff . I looked round to see brad. His face said it all what had Emily done .

James stopped rubbing circles on my back as I said Emily and I looked round to his face . He wouldn't make eye contact with me as he looked round at all the others . He leant down on his knees so that his mouth was the same level as my ear . He softly moved my hair out of the way . Then whispered

" don't judge but -"

" she kissed josh " brad cut off James as he shouted it across for everyone to hear

I looked at James . He looked at me back . Sadness glazed over his eyes as I looked around and out my head back in my hands . She kissed josh . Why . She didn't love him . She loved Connor . Then why . I rubbed my temples as I brought my head up once more and made eye contact with Laura . She looked at me with a blank expression before giving me a eye signal to get up and find her. We needed to find out for ourselves what had happened and not Just write her off

" well I'm still going to look for her we can't just write her off when we haven't heard her side of the story " I looked at brad as he turned his head , not interested in what I had to say

" I'm coming as well , I'm disappointed that you all haven't given her a chance to explain she's one of us and she always will be " Laura said as well
