Chapter 3 - Birthday Surprises

It was now the 1st of October and was finally my birthday. All the girls came round and we went shopping. what else was I gonna do I love shopping . It was 7:45 and I had arrange the girls to come round at 9:00 to get maximum shopping time and be there when they first open.

I went to the bathroom to have a shower then put my hair into a high bun with my cowboy red hair tie. once I had done this I put on my usual make up foundation, powder, black mascara and a bit of blusher. I tried a new eye shadow which was pink as aisha said that pink goes with blue eyes. don't ask me how but she is the make up expert most of us just put it on to look pretty and cover up spots. after that there was the daunting task of deciding what to wear I decided on my dark blue skinny jeans with a sports 98 t-shirt which was black and white tucked into my jeans with a black blazer and white converse to finish.

I suppose I look acceptable for 8:55 in the morning .

the doorbell rang and I shouted "mum ill get it it's probably the girls were going out shopping for my birthday and I'm going to spend the night with all of you lot " I pointed to my dad , mum, brother and sister as I had just walked into the kitchen.

"You'd better be missis I don't want to miss my now 18 year old daughter who's now officially an adult now do I "

"No mum i suppose not " i say with a cheeky grin on my face

I ran for the door as it kept ringing I could tell they were getting annoyed, as I grabbed my ted baker bag which was pastel pink with a bow on the front I went to get my phone and purse when I noticed that there was £50 next to it with a note from my mum saying "go spoil yourself it's your 18th birthday for gods sake ". I love my mum she's definitely the best.

I opened the door to Laura , aisha , Katherine , Beth and Kiran standing there with beaming smiles on their face as that shouted at the top of their voices " happy birthday Emily you're finally 18 like the rest of us"

"Yes I know I'm the youngest one here guys no need to rub It in that you can do more things legally before I can" they all look at me with smirks on their faces

"Okay okay I may be a tincy wincy bit jealous when you were all 18 when I wasn't " we all giggle as we leave my drive for a whole day of shopping. yay!!!

We decided to go to Birmingham because the girls know how much I love forever 21 and can always find time for Starbucks and new look however rushed we were.

Laura's P.O.V-

OMG!!!! I am sooooo excited for today I can't wait to give Emily her present she will be screaming her fangirl head off just like me!!! We were in the selfridges building next to the bullring and it started playing "wild heart " as soon as it came on we all started dancing and singing the song .

"Shhhhhh guys this is Connors solo"

"but come right here I swear ill never let you go

the way you move its wonderful

lets do it now cuz one day well both be old awoawo"

" Well pardon me for interrupting your solo your highness" aisha said with so much sarcasm nobody could miss it

By the end of the song we got a few funny looks and burst out laughing. yep we are the funniest friend group ever. as we approached Starbucks me, Katherine , Beth , aisha and Kiran all whispered in a circle that we would give Emily her present in there. we were all trying not to squeal as Emily was only a few feet away looking at some tops we sent her to find out about.

OMG !!!! I can't wait !!!
