Chapter 50 - It's All Your Fault

Emily's P.O.V -

" h -h - he wants you to move out and take a break off your relationship until you sort things "

He wants to break up with me

" b- but that means he wants to break up with me " I whispered barely audible for anyone to hear . Tears rolled down my face as I processed what they had said to me .

He wants me to move out of our house so that we can have a break . But in reality breaks always turn out to be break ups . I don't want to break up with Connor . I still love him, surely he can see that . Wetness filled my eyes as the tears started to break through . I held my face up to the ceiling hoping the tears would dry and roll back into my eyes . I wiped the stray tears away with my thumb as I silently sniffed . The girls rubbed my back as tris and brad gave me a weak smile

" Emily I - "

" save it " I cut him off as I shrugged the girls off and headed for the double doors and into Connors ward. I walked past tris and brad until only James stood in my way . I brushed past him until he grabbed my hand and I twisted towards him

" James let me go" I said coldly at him whilst giving him a look . My face was blank from emotion but I was getting angry . My blood was boiling and I was nearly at my tipping point . If anybody did anything wrong now I would flip. I twisted my hand round in his grip whilst he held firmly

"Do you really think this is a good idea " he retorted back to me

" yes " I replied with one word before yanking my hand out if his grasp and setting it free . I quickly slammed the double door open and stormed in . I was not letting people tread all over me again. I am going to stick up for myself and he will be the first to know it

Connor's P.O. V -

I watched as James left and I saw emily standing up against the wall outside the door. she had been waiting there the whole time waiting for me to say she could come in. i just wanted everything to go back to how it was before . everyone was happy then . I told James to tell Emily that I wanted her to move out . I needed time to myself before I was ready to ask her what happened. I know Brads sister saw what happened and it was completely Josh's fault but I don't know weather it's happened any other times or if they knew she was watching and staged it

I watched as Emily's face appeared at the tiny circle window in the double door . I saw how beautiful she looked but how her eyes looked sad and her face stained from tears . James must of told her what I said as I saw her look up to the ceiling. This was her way of trying to keep the tears in and not wanting anyone to see her cry. A few stray tears escaped her eyes as i could see her thumbs tremble

Why can't I just give her a second chance . But I can't . I won't let history repeat itself . I looked at the end of the bed ready to be left alone again for the rest of the day. I saw James dart for the door and grab someone's wrist . I couldn't see who the circle window only allowed me to see who was on the right . I couldn't see who was on the left . He looked annoyed and anxious as the door slammed open and Emily came storming in .

" Emily I - " I started as she stopped at the foot of my bed . She held onto the metal frame as support I could tell she was ready to hit someone .

" NO SAVE IT IM TALKING YOUR LISTENING" she replied coldly as I opened my mouth and decided to close it again. The look on her face was enough . Her tense narrow eyes and her gripped fingers hanging onto the metal frame sent shivers down my spine

" YOU WANT A BREAK FROM US HUH , WHY DONT YOU JUST BREAK UP WITH ME BECAUSE IN MY BOOK BREAKS USUALLY END IN BREAK UPS GET THE TERM " she shouted as she shook her hair out her face and her eyes glossed from tears . I desperately wanted to hug her and tell her it's alright . But I couldn't . My legs wouldn't move . It reminded me too much of last time . The gritted teeth , the anger and the slits in her eyes reminded me of when SHE was still here and I had done something to upset her .I went to say something but no words came out
