Chapter 11 - The Phone Call

Emily's P.O.V-

It was now half eight in the morning and it was a Saturday. Yes that means I can go back to bed until the girls come. It has been a few days since the signing for the vamps and aisha coming back from the hospital and all of us decided to forget it as it was such a horrifying day nobody wanted to remember it. But aisha got diagnosed with diabetics and kept being sick as a result of it.

I went downstairs and sat on the sofa. It was cold and I went to grab a blanket from my room. I switched on the TV and put a movie on. I decided on pitch perfect and settled down to watch it. The girls were coming round at half two as Katherine and Beth said that they had something important to tell us.

It was nearing the October half term and they probably wanted to tell us they had booked a place at Alton towers or something . That's what usually happened. I went upstairs to get ready and put on some jeans with a t-shirt tucked in. I did my hair and put a bit of make up on. it was only the girls after all. It was nearly two now and they were due round in half an hour.

The doorbell rang and my mom shot me a confused look. she was going out while us girls were in the house and she was going out at twenty past so that she can be out before they come. But here we were and the doorbell was ringing at two in the afternoon. I definitely said half two didn't I ? I walked up to the door and unlocked it to see Katherine at the door.

I gave her a hug and closed the door.

"Hi mrs jones" Katherine waved to my mom and started walking into my house

We went up the stairs and into my bedroom. Katherine was first but knew her way around like it was her own house. We sat down on my bed and i waited for her to speak.

"Erm Emily there's something me and Beth need to tell you aisha, Laura and Kiran. you know the day we went to the signing and I got that phone call on the train station, well it was the university we applied for and we got in"

I sat there shocked did she really just say she's going to university now in the middle of October. I just sat there I didn't know what to say.

"Emily you can speak now" she laughed clearly finding it amusing that I was in a state of shock

"Oh yeah that's really good I'm Really happy for you wow university when are you starting" I had recovered from my earlier state

"Erm were going in a week i know it's quick but they said that they wanted us as soon as possible, but I also have something else to tell you when the others are here"

"Ouuuuuu what is it give me a teaser" I pouted we all did this we found it hilarious as it reminded us of those girls at school who think they're all it when they are totally not. Katherine burst out into fits of laughter and lay on the bed next to where I was sitting

"No you can wait missis" she panted in between laughter

"We'll I'm hurt that you can't tell me" I made a sad face and put my hand to my chest and pretended to make it look like i was hurt

She laughed it off and pulled a sad face we went downstairs and talked until the rest of the girls came. It was half two and the doorbell rang signalling that they were here. I really should just give them all a key it would be much easier on both our parts. I got up and went to open the door leaving Katherine on the sofa. I opened the door and sure enough were three girls standing there waiting to be let in.

There was only me, Katherine, Laura, Kiran an Beth here today aisha was still banished to her bedroom and couldn't go outside for another few days. They walked into the living room and we all flopped down kicking off our shoes and making theirselves at home. Katherine and Beth looked at each other and nodded I guess they were going to tell everybody now.

"So as you all know me and Beth applied for university in June and we have just found out that we have been accepted and are going to Australia in a week" she squealed and we all jumped on top of them for a group hug

They were greeted by a well done and oh my god you did it. We were all really happy for them we didn't know what to say. They were going to Australian university the best one in the country

Beth's P.O.V-

We had just told the girls that me an Katherine were going to Australian university and they had just gave us a massive hug ad were so pleased for us. I'm glad they took it like that they could have said that we were ditching them and that we just wanted to get away from them. Even though I know they wouldn't of said that there was still that nervousness that they would.

But we also had some more news that was just directed at Emily, Kiran and Laura. We had already told aisha both sets of news and we were hoping for the same reaction as she had. It was my turn to share the second piece of news

" and we've got another set of news to come your way but it's only directed at you three and aisha"

" ohhh yeah I've heard about this news I wonder what it could be" Emily pouted and tried not to laugh a smile forming across her face

" we'll you know that note that Connor handed you on the day of the vamps signing in the ambulance" Emily blushed pink as I expected and carried on

" we'll their management phoned and the boys wanted to ask weather we'd all like to meet up with them in two weeks after their first single has been released"

The girls just sat there trying to take in what has just been said to them

" and before you say anything joe said that they would have phoned you themselves but they all chickened out and were too scared to think that you'd say no"

"As if we would" Kiran whispered quietly

Emily and Laura had just lost their voices it was exactly the same with aisha it takes a while to register what we had just said but they started to form a smile that stretched from ear to ear until Laura whispered

"Just think they were to scared to call us"

That made us all laugh. I was sad that we were going to miss it but hey we were going to Australia.

Laura's P.O.V-

Beth had just told me,Kiran and Emily that THE vamps wanted to meet up with us in two weeks. I couldn't believe it they actually wanted to talk to us after all the commotion and uproar we caused them they still wanted to see us. It was probably just to see if we were alright but this was the vamps we were talking about of course they cared

I still can't believe that Beth and Katherine have been accepted into a university half way round the world. Me and the girls will miss them what will we do without them.
