Chapter 37 - I Can't Deal With This Anymore

Emily's P.O.V -

I looked up to see another girl approaching the bed . Josh had just introduced us to his mum. His mum was the nurse looking after Aisha . I whipped my head round to see the girl. She was blond , with long hair and fairly short . I remember seeing family pictures around Josh's house when I went over there but they're was always two sisters . Where was the other one ?

I shrugged my thoughts off as I looked at the girl. Her eyes examined the room as she took in every persons last detail and she listened carefully when josh introduced us to her . She scanned the room forcing a glair until her eyes finished where they had started .

Me

I could feel her glare staring right through my body and into my soul. I felt her examining me as I grew more and more uncomfortable with her. I started shuffling on cons lap as her staring got more and more intense.

"Come on Ashleigh there's no need for you to be in here" he mum quickly turned her daughter around and walked her out.

Hang on I thought Josh's sisters name was Donna

I started to run thoughts through my head . Maybe only one sister came and the others at home , but they're twins and don't do anything without each other . She could have mixed their names up or not looked at her properly. But she's their mum , she knows the difference .

I was interrupted from my thoughts by brad heavily snoring . He had been in this hospital for a total of 5 days and hadn't left the room. He was mentally and emotionally exhausted . It was good that he was finally getting some sleep but he needed to go back home for some proper rest or at least leave the room.

I thought about going to his house and bringing him a few things so that he wasn't so exhausted . Id just get a few things then come back . Someone had to go . I looked around the room and thought about . Non of us had any cars because we all came in the ambulance apart from josh . I would have to ask him.

" josh " I quietly whispered as I got off cons lap and walked to him . His head whipped up from the hospital bed and his gaze set on me .

" yeh "

" would you mind taking me to brads house as we all don't have our cars and I need to get a few things for brad" I whispered . He looked over at the exhausted , sleeping brad and nodded .

I walked back over to con . He gave me a strange look as I collected my coat and bag whilst putting them on .

" just going to brads house to get some things for him " he nodded his understanding and I pecked his lips before turning round to josh . He nodded and we were ready to go . We walked down the hospital corridors on silence . The only thing to be heard was the nurses rushing about and the squelch of the newly polished floors.

We reached the car park and I followed josh. I had never been in his car so that meant I hadn't been in it . I just followed him until we came to a little blue car at the edge of the car park. It looked old and battered but it would get me to where I needed . That was all that mattered .

" you know where brads house is don't you " I clarified to josh as I opened the car door and stepped inside the front seat. He answered when I shut the door and we were both in the car . He started up the engine

" yes I think so it's just round the corner from your house isn't it " he looked round to me as I nodded and looked out the window . We left the hospital as it turned smaller as smaller in the distance , finally turning into a little dot . We made small talk until we pulled up at brads drive . I knocked on the door three times and waited for someone to answer .
