It leaped and landed on top of an Alpha, who happened to be Aaron. Kash took a sharp intake of breath. He was wielding his sword, taunting it to come forward. The other Alphas had it circled, but it's attention was only on Aaron. It snapped it's teeth furiously, but Aaron was too fast. He rolled to the side, and drove his sword into its forearm, sprinting back just in time. Kash watched in wonder. The other Alphas took the queue and started attacking from all sides. It roared in frustration, now not sure which one to attack. It was bleeding all over its back and sides. It shrieked in pain. Before it could move, Aaron struck again, this time impaling it in the stomach. Blood was gushing out, but it didn't deter. It moved out of the way, and snapped at his arm with its huge mouth. It connected. It's teeth tore through his arm, and he screamed and stumbled. He was bleeding heavily, and he no longer could wield his sword. At the sight of the blood, it's eyes grew crazed. It tried to snap it's jaws around Aaron, who lay on the floor, losing blood at a dangerous rate. The other Alphas distracted the beast, slashing and driving their weapons through its legs and ribs. It shrieked grotesquely. Aaron staggered to his feet, ripping fabric from his shirt with his teeth and tying it tightly around his forearm. He threw his sword down and chose a rather sharp dagger from a pocket. He spat blood on the floor, taunting the beast. What is he doing? He'll have to get in close to strike a blow. She noticed a change in him. His usual warm and mischievous chocolate eyes were now burning with hatred. He no longer looked like Aaron. He gritted his teeth in a deadly combination of pain and fury. He no longer could use his right arm, so he now held the dagger in his left. The Zeke circled him, trying to get in close. He looked small and pity next to it. It lunged quickly and caught him off guard. He managed to move aside, but its paw caught his cheek and he spiraled backwards. The other Alphas were slashing it's back and now has completely demobilized it's back legs. It turned its head furiously, and snatched an Alpha in its mouth, throwing him across the room. It raked it's claws across another one, sending him flying back. The Betas and Zetis were watching helplessly, and the remaining Alphas stood at the main entrance door, not moving to help their outnumbered comrades. Zia stood still in the center, watching the battle unfold. Kyle stood tensed up in front of Kash, and she was dismayed. These people are monsters. They aren't even moving to help their fallen comrades. Aaron got to his feet slowly and winced. Three long gashes raked his face, and his right arm was bleeding heavily. He could barely lift it up. He was torn, and bloody, yet ready to fight. This time, he charged. The Zeke was wary. He launched up and into the air and landed square in its back. It bellowed and tried to shake him off. But he drove the dagger viciously onto it's back, right between the shoulders. It screamed and collapsed. He stood, panting, blood oozing off of him. The sight of all the blood and violence was making bile crawl up Kashs throat. Her thoughts were zoning in and out, and she stubborn pushed away her fear and panic. Everyone cheered, and Kash realized it was over. She let out her breath, realizing she'd been holding it in the whole time. The gashes on Aarons face were dripping, and his whole cheek was drenched in blood. His arm was bloodied and mangled. A huge gash ripped across his back. He tried to walk, but he stumbled and fell. The Alphas nearby rushed to his side. He winced and grunted. Kashmir was stunned. She couldn't move. She'd seen it all happen in front of her eyes. But she couldn't believe it. So many people, injured. Aaron lay on the floor, suffering from blood loss. She ran to Aaron, afraid that the worst had happened. He lay unmoving, and she crouched by his side. She gently put her hand on his head, careful not to hurt him. He winced. The Zetis ran furiously to the spot, and pushed her back. They started working on him furiously. Kash put her hand to her mouth, her throat dry. Kyle ran up to her, and knelt down beside her.

" Come, you need some rest. It's okay, he'll be okay. " he said, trying to comfort her. She shook her head, unable to speak. Hot tears sprang from her eyes. The built up fear, panic, tension and grief finally spilled out of her.

"He'll be okay. I know it's a lot to take in, it's gonna be alright. Don't cry. " Kyle said, sounding a little uncomfortable. She couldn't blame him, she looked so weak in front of everyone. But she couldn't help it.

She staggered to her feet, tears blocking her vision. Aaron groaned and winced. She resisted the urge to then around.  Please Lord, don't let him die. As Kyle stepped through the hole, she heard something. She looked up and her heart froze. Breaking through the entrance doors, the remaining Zeke stepped through, growling. Kash felt her heart stop. The Alphas were no longer at the door, they had gone with Zia to patrol farther into woods to see if there were more. In the heat of the moment, they had forgotten about the last Zeke in the building. This is how it ends. She felt her breath get caught in her throat. It saw the body of the dead beast and howled in grief. It lowered its head, and glared at the medics and injured soldiers scattered around it's body. A single tear fell from Kashs eye. She was scared. She was grieving. She closed her eyes, ready for death. Then a sharp whistle sliced past her ear. She saw something fly by the corner of her eyes. Kash's eyes widened. A long spear was protruding from the beasts chest. It shrieked in agony, and fell to the floor with a loud thud. She whipped around, trying to see who had killed the beast. Kyle stood behind her, his eyes narrowed and a broken spear shaft in his hand. Oh my god. The Zeke groaned and tried to get to it's feet, but Kyle was faster. In the blink of an eye, he threw his broken weapon, and impaled the Zeke's heart. It staggered forward, dripping blood from its mouth and nose. Kash stifled a sob. It was all too much to take in. She had seen the bloodthirsty nature of this forest, and these people. And she couldn't stand it.
Kyle noticed the change in her eyes and he felt guilty. He stooped down to her ears and whispered,

" Let's get you inside. "

Oh my gods guys. I'm so sorry! We moved a long way and there wasn't WiFi for three months, while our furniture was coming. Thats why I wrote three binge chapters at once for you guys! Again, I truly apologize. So what do you guys think of the Breach? Aarons display of bravery? How Kyle killed the Zeke with ease? I'd love to hear it all!
