It had been about half an hour of flying when finally, Kyle couldn't take it anymore. Dam this. I hate flying. He'd been rigid with fear ever since the creature had plucked him out of the sky. It's gonna get hungry.
"Hey Kash! " he hollered, trying to not let the fear creep into his voice.
" Yeah? " she answered, voice groggy.
" When are we gonna land? "
"Where do we land? What do we do now? "
asked Ian, awoken by the commotion.Nice questions, sleepy head.
" I think we need to go back in the mountain. " said Kash, finally.
" Good thinking, " said Aaron. " Oh dear beast of the skies, please take us back to the mountain in which the snail mutt tried to kill us. " he said, sarcastically.
" No. I felt something there. We must turn back. " she replied.
" Did the lady tell you something? " Kyle asked.
She looked at him for a full minute. He twitched nervously under her gaze. I hate it when she does that." No. She left me. Last night. She just told me the tunnels to go through. I memorized them. "
" What?! " said Aaron, his eyes firey.
" She led us to the tunnel so we'd get trapped? "" That's not what she mea-" she tried.
"No. What he said is right. " said Ian. She stared at him, shock on her face.
" She leads you to your death, then leaves you? Kash, I don't like where this is going. We were just lucky that you could summon the Dragon. " he finished.
She just looked at all of them. Kyle felt guilty for opposing her, especially since they didn't have a lot of proof. But it's for her safety.
" Fine," she answered, her gaze steely. "I won't communicate with her."
Aaron nodded, looking satisfied."Shall we go back, Dragon Lady? " Ian asked, trying to repair their friendship.
She nodded, avoiding his eyes. Slowly, they turned back around, gliding through the floating mountains.

The Dragon dropped them at the gaping hole from which they had taken a dive. The creature was nowhere to be found. That's good, thought Ian. They looked around, trying to figure out which way to go. Ian noticed how Kash stood as far away as possible from him. I'm sorry Kash. But I had to go against you. For your safety. He had never trusted the Lady, anyway.
"Which way? " Kyle interrupted his thoughts.
" What is that smell? " asked Aaron, his nose wrinkled up. Ian smelt it too. That's nasty. It's like, spoilt egg. Aaron sniffed through the air.
" This way. " he beckoned, going through the tunnels.
" What? Is there a lady in your dreams too? " teased Kyle. Aaron stopped in his tracks. He turned quickly.
" What? " he asked, his eyes narrowed.
" N-nothing. Ju-just joking. " Kyle said, shocked at the way his friend was acting. Well that's weird. I'll ask him later. Aaron relaxed a bit.
" Come. " he continued walking.
After about an hour of walking, and getting lost under Aaron's guidance, Ian felt like lead. Dam this.
