Kash's mind was racing. What is this place? In front of her were row upon row of glass cylinders, large enough to fit a whole man. They were filled with chemicalized water. But what astonished her were the people inside the tubes. They were unmoving, people her age dressed in the facility's black suits. Wires were attached to them, leading to machine readings. A group of adults in white suits stood gaping at the bloodied and bruised teens standing at the doors. One of the suited adults snapped out of it, and rang the alarm. The rest of then scurried away, ducking behind the glass cylinders.

"Get them! " one of the women screeched. Kash stood unmoving, shock rooting her to the floor. Two side doors at the far end of the room blasted open, and security guards ran in, clutching machine guns. Five knelt, with their guns pointed, and six others stood behind then in battle formation. For the first time, Kash lost all hope. Her heart sank as the guards cocked their guns.

"Get down on your knees, or we will shoot!"
One of the men, ordered. Kash was about to get to her knees in a faint hope of survival, when a flash of silver shot past her ear. In the blink of an eye, one of the men in the front row fell with a sickening thud, a claw embedded into his head. What? Is that a hell hounds claw? Before she could question it, a sharp blast of pain sliced her arm. She was shot.

"Fire! " the man yelled again, and all hell broke loose.

Someone tackled Kash from behind just as a bullet whizzed above her head. It all happened in slow motion for her. She fell to the floor, the shard of metal passing over her head, barely missing her. It found it's mark on the person that tackled her from behind. He grunted, ignoring the bullet wound. Things resumed their speed, and she ducked and rolled instinctively, as she fell to the floor. A glass tube shattered to her right as more bullets rained down on them. She dove behind another tube, just as a bullet smashed it, hitting the unconsciousness body inside.

"Do not hit the subjects! " the armoured man roared.
From the shaky view she got from behind the glass tubes, bullets flew everywhere. She saw yet another guard meet their end with a claw that impaled it's throat. She tried to find whoever it was that threw the claws. She found Kyle clutching the temporary claw weapon she had fashioned from the hell hounds. That makes so much more sense. She was crouching behind a cylinder, debating if she should go out and help. War makes soldiers, she reminded herself. An old lesson that suddenly popped into her head. She chose the stealthy way of attack. Picking up a shard of broken glass, she edged around the tubes until she found a clearing. There were nine guards left, and one of them was out of ammunition. The rest of them were firing madly, not even bothering to aim. Aaron dodged the bullets by ducking behind cylinders, which the guards weren't allowed to shoot at. Ian attacked then head on, tackling the lone guards that ventured too far. He had one in a choke hold, his arm pressed around his neck. Kyle resorted to using the claws as daggers. Kash waited for the perfect moment, and snuck up behind an unsuspecting guard. She leaped onto his back, slicing his neck in a clean kill. He tried to shoot, but she merely leaped off and disappeared again. Just then a flash of white farther down the room caught her eye. The scientists! If I can get them to talk... She darted forward, the battle raging behind her. A guard flew in front of her, and landed with a thud. The second he got up, he pointed his gun at his unknown adversary. Out of nowhere, Ian leaped onto the guard, elbowing his nose. With a quick jab of his knee, the guard slumped over and lost his gun to Ian. She looked at him, asking his permission to go. He winked at her, then threw the gun to her. Great. She grabbed the gun and continued her way, slinking behind the tubes. Part of her wanted to free them from this horrid place, but she knew there wouldn't be enough time. Quietly as she could, she tiptoed to the desks placed at the far end of the room. She could hear the slight whimpering of the doctor's who were hiding behind the desks. She picked a shard of glass of long as a blade, and fingered it in her palm nervously. I'm not hurting them, she reminded herself. Just.... she searched for the right word. Interrogating. She nimbly leaped onto the desk, landing lightly on her feet. She peered down, and found herself staring at a full grown man. He trembled in fear, and yelped as she landed on the floor in front of him. He whimpered.
