"It's, uh... it's been a while." Jungwon said awkwardly.

We were in the back together by the pool. I was alone by the pool at first, but I guess he wanted to join me as a way to catch up with me one on one.

"It's been years, actually." I respond.

"How have you been?" He looked at me for a slight moment, then looked away at the water.

"I've been well. And you?" I asked him back.

"I've been fine as well."

"Why did you come back? Because of your parents?" I asked out of curiosity.

"We decided to move back here. My grandma is getting pretty elderly, so she needs a bit of help." Jungwon answered, dipping his fingers in the cool water.

"That makes sense." I nod slightly.

"My parents have wondered about you, by the way. I told them that I saw you again after a long time and they said that they missed you. They're hoping to see you some time." He brings up.

"We could arrange something in the future." I suggest.

"That would be nice. My parents would be delighted." He said.

"It seems like you have your life together. How is it, living with Heeseung hyung?" He changes the subject, now looking at me.

"He's a pain in the ass sometimes, but I like living with him. Don't tell him I said that, though. He'll make fun of me for that for the rest of my life if you tell him what I said." I joke, and he laughs softly.

"I'm glad you found new friends to lean on. I'm sorry I... left so abruptly." He responded.

"It's okay. It's the past." I fake smile, suddenly being reminded of the last time we ever saw each other.

"I'm glad you have my brother and the others, too. Especially since you're back now." I tell him.

Jungwon looks at me with soft, shy eyes and he smiles a little, his dimple barely showing.

"Heeseung hyung tells me you're a hot topic at school. Is it true?" He chuckled.

"He's still on about that..." I sigh. "Apparently so. I found out just today." I shrugged, not really caring about it.

"I don't blame the people at school. You're good looking and you have a nice personality." He compliments.

"Thank you, Jungwon." I gulp, feeling shy out of nowhere.

What is this? I'm never shy. I'm always confident and outgoing. Why am I suddenly feeling weird and shy? This is strange. There's no way I became shy all of a sudden just because of Jungwon.

He is a lot bolder than what I remembered years ago. We were still young, but there's a drastic change in his confidence. I can tell he still gets flustered, but I think my brother has influenced him too much. We just saw each other again after years and he's already complimenting me. It's kind of cute.

"This is a bit of a TMI, but I'm so nervous about school... I went to an all boys school before moving back here." He switches the subject after the short but irritable silence.

"I would talk to the hyungs about it, but they never really give actual advice. I think they're dummies." He adds on, chuckling softly and awkwardly. "Don't tell them I said that."

"No promises." I joke.

He looks at me with slight panic, his cheeks turning a light pink.

I snicker. "I'm kidding. I won't say anything, of course. It's fundamental you know that they aren't of any help when it comes to actual problems. Sunghoon is the most helpful person out of all of them. You can go to him for your problems." I inform him.

Jungwon nods his head, giving me a small smile.

"Thanks, Hyewon. Doesn't he have a girl friend, now? Sunghoon hyung?" Jungwon fails at hiding his proud smirk.

"He does. I've never met her. I don't know her name." I answer. "That dude's absolutely obsessed with her, though."

"I can tell. He told me all about her when I first came back." Jungwon laughs shyly.

"She's all he talks about. We all support it, but secretly we dread when he goes on and on about her. It's literally the only thing he talks about. His relationship." I face palm, getting irritated from thinking about it.

"I'm proud of that hyung, though. I'm happy for him. I'm glad everyone has been doing well." He plays with his hair.

"How have you been?" I ask him, looking at him with my full attention.

He notices the full focus on him and he becomes shy, but tries to play it cool. He isn't that good at hiding his emotions.

"I've been okay. I just missed the hyungs, is all. I'm really happy I came back." He responds, flashing his cute smile and dimple.

Ew. Did I just- never mind.

That wasn't me who called his smile cute.

A spirit must've possessed me, or something.
