Minju, Yeji, and I are currently on the train, sitting next to each other waiting for our stop to get off on. The shopping district was pretty far from home, so it did take about 5-10 more stops until we got there.
The train was crowded so neither of us felt comfortable enough to really talk and speak up, so we all just had AirPods in to listen to our own music for the train ride.
My head rested on Minju and our arms linked together, I let out a small yawn since I was feeling a bit tired. I stayed up pretty late because I wasn't able to fall asleep; Jungwon stayed on my mind the whole night and thoughts about him clouded my mind too much to the point where I couldn't sleep.
Nothing a little shopping won't fix, though.
It was pretty much important for the three of us to go shopping every weekend. That's what we do every Saturday, we spend time with each other and shop. It's kind of like a weekend routine for us. Saturdays we spend together, then Sundays we have to ourselves.
Whenever we didn't shop, we would still go out; either to get boba, cook together, it honestly just depends on our mood... but we usually go shopping every Saturdays. It's important for us.
What more could you want?
Shopping for new clothes with your best friends. How delightful does that sound?
That's why we always do it.
We're best friends, after all. Of course we have to spend time together. I love being with them, I'm the happiest when I'm hanging out with them. We all have similar personalities, so we get along really well. We have similar personalities, style, clothing, taste, appetites... we have similar EVERYTHING.
I guess we were all meant to be best friends.
"Ah... I should've invited my brother's girlfriend to come with us. I forgot to mention that earlier before we left." Yeji speaks up quietly.
"It's okay. We'll have plenty of opportunities to shop with her." Minju replies.
"Yeah. She's obsessed with shopping. Just like us. Especially Hyewon." Yeji giggles.
"I haven't met Sunghoon's girlfriend yet. I hope I can soon. He says good things about her." I speak up.
"Of course he does. That dude's obsessed with her." Yeji snorts.
"What a lover boy." Minju fixes her hair.
"Just like Jungwon~~" Yeji coos annoyingly, nuzzling her head on my shoulder.
"Eeesh! Hey." I begin to blush.
"Why don't you buy him something? A sweater, hoodie, or whatever?" Minju looks at me.
"Should I? I don't know. It may be too soon for gifts..." I think hard.
"Nah. Guys love gifts, especially from the person they like. Don't worry. He'll love what ever you get him." Yeji assures me.
"Maybe I'll go out and get him something tomorrow. I have errands to run tomorrow, anyway." I decide.
"Can we get coffee before we go to the stores? I need some energy." I groan softly.
"Yeah. Let's stop by the coffee shop. It's right in front of the entrance anyway." Minju nods her head while texting on her phone.
I get a notification buzz from my phone so I take it out of my bag and see what it was. It was a text from Jungwon.
JUNGWON
