Jungwon and I were still in our first class, and since it was a free period today, we didn't do much but talk while doing our own things. I was sketching some bunnies and he had his arm on the desk with his head leaned forward, his cheek in his hand while he was watching me draw.
"You're a really good drawer, Hyewon. Just like I remembered when we were kids." Jungwon looked at me with fascination.
"Thanks, Jungwon." I give him a small grin.
"I'm so hungry..." He pouts his lips like a little kid cutely.
"Hey, is the food here good?" He asked me, rubbing his stomach.
"No." I shake my head immediately.
"Huh? Really?" His eyebrows raise up in surprise.
"The food isn't good here. Every once in a while we get good food, but most of the time it's stale and cold." I explain to him.
"Ah... that sucks..." he makes a pouting noise and puts his head down on the desk.
"If you want, you can come with me to go out to eat then get boba after school. It's only Minju, Yeji, and I, though. I don't think they're bringing their guy friends." I offer to him.
Instantly, he lifts his head up and looks at me, his eyes lighting up. Jungwon gives me a cute, bubbly smile.
"Can I? Is that okay?" He raises his voice and makes it higher at the end of his sentence.
"Yes," I giggle. "You can."
"Are you sure? I don't want to interrupt your girl time." He frowns a little, but keeps his eyes bright.
"They won't mind. I don't mind, either. If I didn't want you to come then I wouldn't have brought it up, dummy." I roll my eyes playfully.
"That's true. Thanks, Hyewon! You're so sweet." He suddenly pinches my cheek and then quickly lets go, pulling out his phone.
My eyes widen up a little in fluster and shock, feeling waves of chills roam my body and flutters in my stomach. I gulp, having to deal with the strange feeling that entered my body because of Jungwon. I don't know what this feeling is, but I don't enjoy it. The feeling itself wasn't bad, but the fact I was getting butterflies was what I disliked.
I brush the fluttery feeling off as the bell rang for second period. I wore my backpack over my shoulders and Jungwon followed me outside the class, to our second period together.

It was finally lunch time. Before Jungwon and I walked into the cafeteria, we stopped by our lockers to put some things away.
"I'm so hungry..." Jungwon rubs his stomach again, pouting.
"Don't worry. Fourth and fifth period will be over in no time. It's shorter than first and second." I assure him, putting some notebooks away in my locker.
"Really? That's cool. I won't have those classes with you, though.. I'm a bit scared." He leans against the lockers.
"It'll be okay, Jungwon. Don't worry-" I suddenly get interrupted by an unknown male voice.
"Lee Hyewon."
We both turn around and see a random guy standing in front of Jungwon and I.
"Is this your boyfriend, Hyewon?" The dude gives Jungwon a nasty glare.
I peek over at Jungwon and he seems uncomfortable. I look back at the guy as some girls and boys stand near us to hear the conversation.
"He's not my boyfriend." I say politely.
