Jungwon and I were currently at the zoo, after stopping by to get drinks, first. Looking around at all of the animals, our arms clinging to each other in excitement, we couldn't help but hold hands and guide each other to all of the animals that we were fascinated by.

Jungwon looks so cute, admiring the animals with his cute, deep dimple and his cat-like smile. Every part of me wanted to just embrace him in a giant hug and pinch his baby cheeks, because he just looked so cute; being so excited by the animals, I couldn't help but look at him in awe.

Every time he got excited and saw something cool, he would squeeze my arm and drag me other with him, squealing and gasping while calling my name to get my attention.

I felt so light and carefree whenever I was with him. I've never felt this way before. Sure, I've been happy before, including being happy from him, but this was a whole new feeling. I felt so bubbly and on top of the world with Jungwon. He brought out a new side of me, and I've never been so comfortable with someone before. And I'm so happy that he's the one who can bring this out of me.

"Hyewon! Eeeek! Look!!! Tigers!!!!!" Jungwon points to the tiger's den like a little cute kid.

The big smile not disappearing from my face for even a second, he walks me over to the tigers with our hands interlocked. He leans over the fence, his eyes widened in fascination while looking at the tigers.

"Look! They're a couple, Hyewon!!! That's so cute!!"

I giggle happily and ruffle his hair, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek unexpectedly. He freezes up, his whole face and ears becoming beet red. He turns his head to look at me, his mouth opened in shock. Giving him a sneaky smile, I walk him over to the lions without saying anything.

"Lions are cute. Have you watched The Lion King?" I look at Jungwon, and he's still blushing.

"Y-Yes. I mean, y-yes. YES. Sorry. I don't know why I keep stuttering! This is so w-weird! I just did it again. Jungwon, what's wrong with you?" He stammers, scratching his head.

I chuckle in awe. "You're really cute, Jungwon."

"Stop! M-My heart...." he stutters, smiling shyly.

I reach over and pinch his cheek, admiring his cuteness. We make eye contact and he looks at me with the biggest, cutest smile ever. His eyes were filled with affection, lightened up by stars. It was the cutest sight. Everything about Jungwon is just adorable.

"Let's go to the park, Hyewon. I think we've seen all of the animals here at the zoo. We can take a break, then go to the aquarium after. We've been walking for a while, do you want me to give you a piggy back ride?" He looks at me.

"I know your legs hurt." He adds.

"Wait, how did you know my legs are hurting? I didn't say anything about them." My eyes widen a little in shock.

"I've been noticing you rubbing and massaging your legs every time we stand and look at the animals."

"I'll give you a piggy back ride. Come." He leans down, turning around waiting for me to get on his back.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Hyewon. Come here." He says.

I climb onto his back carefully, my legs hooked around his torso. Holding my legs up supporting me on his back, I wrap my arms around his neck and put my head right next to his while we walked over to the park which was a few minutes away into the zoo.

Smiling, he turns his head to me and beams his eyes at me, his dimple flashing. I look back at him and grin widely, happy from this moment. Resting my head on his shoulder, he giggles softly. We get to the park and I get off of him, and we sit down at a bench away from the other people.

He takes a seat next to me and makes himself sit close to me, our knees almost touching as we're facing each other with our bodies turned.

"About the Jake thing..." he speaks up.

"Hmm?" I hum.

"I talked to him yesterday. I went over his house to apologize. He looked surprised at first, but I told him I was sorry and explained everything to him. He said he was sorry too, and we hugged it out. We made up." Jungwon explains to me.

"Really? That's good, Jungwon. I'm proud of you." I poke his cheek.

He softly smiles at me.

"Yeah. I'm glad we made up. All of us. Me and you, me and Jake. Everything feels in place now. I'm finally happy again." He says with sincerity.

"You make me really happy, Hyewon. You've helped me get better. I was so scared before because I was insecure, and I'm sorry I took that out on you. I'm more than grateful for you." He looks at me with soft eyes, cupping my cheek and caressing it with his thumb.

"There's no need to be insecure, Jungwon. You're the only one I want. I look for you in everyone else, did you know? I want you and only you. Don't worry about that stuff." I say to him.

"Thanks, Hyewon. I only want you, too. You're so perfect to me."

"You're more than perfect, Jungwon. You're the best." I smile at him.

"This entire time apart from you, I've been thinking, and... I think I'm finally ready. I was so scared to commit and get attached, but with you, it's so worth it. I want to be with you for the rest of my life.

Please be my girlfriend, Hyewon."

This is finally happening.

Everything feels like a dream.

"I'm 100% ready to be with you. I know I can be a good boyfriend to you, and I want you to be mine officially." He adds.

"And if you aren't ready yet, that's okay, we can wait, Hyewon, no rush-"

"I'll be your girlfriend, Jungwon." I cut him off.

"Really?" He stammers.

"Seriously? You're not playing with me?" he gulps visibly.

"I'm not playing. I want to be your girlfriend."

He smiles warmly at me, happy and relieved at my answer.

"My first love is finally my girlfriend."
