Today was the day I was hanging out with Jungwon. It was around 2:10 and he was coming over at 3, so I was currently getting ready. Makeup was already done, I just needed to fix my hair up because it's been in a bun the whole day. After straightening my hair and fixing my bangs which took another twenty minutes, I finally changed into the outfit I spent so long picking out.

It was already 2:45 by the time I finally finished getting ready. I figured Jungwon wasn't going to be here until 3:00 on the dot or a few minutes after, so I just stayed in my room and prepared everything in my purse that I needed to bring.
Putting on my socks, the doorbell rings downstairs. Assuming it was Jungwon, I wore my purse over my shoulder and put on my boots, walking downstairs after putting on some mauve lipstick.
My assumption was right; Jungwon was at the door, waiting for me with a cute outfit on that really fit him. He was wearing the corduroy pants that I bought for him a few weeks ago and it made me so happy to see him wearing them.

He sees me and gives me a bright, happy smile. Running his fingers through his hair, he talks to Heeseung about his outfit.
"You look good in those pants. I made a good decision getting those for you." I look at Jungwon and admire him.
Jungwon smiles profusely from my compliment, getting shy.
"Thanks, Hyewon. I quite like them a lot, too."
"Since when did you dress up so nicely, Jungwon?" Heeseung pats Jungwon's shoulder.
Jungwon chuckles.
"Since forever. What do you mean, hyung?" Jungwon scoffs playfully.
"My sister really has influenced you. Your outfits say it all. I bet she bought you a whole new wardrobe."
"Hey, that's not true!" Jungwon blushes.
"Leave the poor guy alone, will you?" I jump in, smacking Heeseung's forehead.
"As expected, the girlfriend defending her boyfriend, Baby Jungwon." My brother rolls his eyes jokingly.
"I'm not a baby, hyung!" Jungwon pouts his lips, scrunching his nose.
"You definitely act like one around Hyewon. You're her baby."
"Shut up, Heeseung. Look at the poor guy. He's blushing out of his mind! Blood will pour out of his eyes at this rate if you keep teasing him." I say sarcastically.
"Hey! You guys are matching color themes, too! Wow." My brother teases us.
"Wow, eureka." Jungwon gasps cutely and I giggle.
"It was a mere coincidence." I respond.
"I didn't know we would match, either." Jungwon says.
"Wow. You guys are soulmates, huh?" Heeseung smirks childishly.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." I cross my arms, tired of my brother's childishness.
"Let's go, Jungwon. I'm tired of my brother."
"Rude. Be more grateful for me, will you? I'm your big brother, for crying out loud. You're so mean to me. Is that how baby sisters are supposed to be?" Heeseung messes up my hair and I yell at him.
"Fucker!" I punch his arm and he flinches, laughing.
"You kids have fun. Stay safe, alright? Walk those streets with confidence. Well- my sister already does that- I mean you, Jungwon. Be confident! You look good." Heeseung pats Jungwon's head, making Jungwon chuckle.
"I'll try, hyung. Thank you."
I fix my hair as we leave the house, Heeseung closing and locking the door behind us. We get into Jungwon's car that was parked in the front of my house, as I get into the passenger's seat next to him. Putting on our seatbelts, Jungwon turns on the car's air conditioner and drives off to our destination.
We were going to the aquarium and zoo today, and I was totally excited out of my mind. I couldn't sleep yesterday because of how excited I was.
I shake my legs due to excitement in my seat, looking outside the window happily with a big, foolish grin on my face.
Jungwon looks at me quickly and smiles, noticing how excited I was.
"You really like animals, don't you? You look like a little kid getting candy." He tells me.
"I'm SO excited!" I squeal.
"We'll see the tigers, penguins, everything!! I'm so excited, Jungwon." I grab his arm, gasping and he giggles.
Letting go of his arm, he puts his non-occupied hand on my knee, his other hand on the steering wheel. Feeling butterflies, my smile grows wider from the butterflies and excitement combined.
"What's your favorite animal, Jungwon?" I look at him in curiosity.
"I like cats, and also sheep." he responds to me.
"That's not that surprising. You look like both of those animals. They're both cute." I say.
"Are you calling me cute, Hyewon?" he squeezes my knee a little bit.
"Maybe I am." I tease.
He giggles softly.
"What's your favorite animal, Hyewon?"
"I like penguins, koalas, and pandas. Foxes are cool, too. I like all animals." I answer him.
"You kinda look like a baby koala. I don't know why, but it's cute. You remind me of a baby koala." Jungwon smiles.
"I guess we all resemble something, hmm?" I grin at him and he nods his head.
"You're really cute, Hyewon."
"Says you. I think you're cuter." I respond to him, and he blushes.
"You're too nice! My heart can't take it!" he gasps cutely.
